Hope I haven’t jumped the gun, but the old thread was getting quite full.

I’ve just been browsing the

and trying to work out what sewing machines they were using at home. I always do that when a magazine has a feature about one if the contestants.
I think Therese has the same Juki machine as I have and she’s also got the mini quilter too. Lucky lass.

Also, do you think that maybe either Therese or that slightly annoying bloke Peter might have won this year as they also have Juliet, the winner from the last series in this group?

Thanks silkandsandwiches I'm getting confused between episodes and can't re-watch to check because I'm abroad.

I still think Therese was one of the best sewers there, but she found the time constraints difficult. I wish just once they would give them ample time to finish something and then you would get a truer picture of their abilities.

You know what, until reading Soup's explanation now, I had never even realised that the word starting with S contains the n-word in it.

Nor did I - and I use it a lot!

I did because I was censored on another forum where it was replaced with s(person of black origin) or something along those lines.

For once I can say "polictical correctness gone mad" and it really has, Soup.

But this is what happens when you rely on robots . . .

It's purely because it ends in the word. Sniggering is absolutely fine for example.

That is it outrageous that a perfectly legitimate word is being censored. Political correctness has gone totally mad. What a strange world we now live in.

The filter is automatic - nothing to do with MNHQ as such

It has nothing to do with "political correctness gone mad" it's just a mistake! I think this is probably the only word it affects and no one thought of it.

Studycast I agree on Therese, and was sad to see her go.

On another note, I thought Clare's pattern challenge should have been GOTW.

I thought that about her blouse too but it wasn't even mentioned as being in contention (on screen - it might have been mentioned and edited out)

I know - I rate her blouse over the transformation, which was a contender. I'm not an expert, but...
