I'm waiting for the bench seats to make their inevitable appearance......

I count three different bench seating areas

It looked a bit like a spaceship in the vestibule. I quite like the design overall, but it's a bit odd..... The withdrawing room is pointless. Multilevel and more cushions. Hmmmmm

What about the other floors?
The lift is a good idea

And not one, not two, but three sets of bench seats!

The hall, leading into a vestibule seems like a complete waste of space, and I absolutely hated all the red and black.

The kitchen is just as narrow as before with Robert's design

Lifts are expensive to maintain.
Robert deffo has it this week.

Robert like different floor levels to define spaces. They're not essential to the design

They'll probably go away, argue, then come back and do a mish-mash of the two. Then argue about the results forever after.

I like his design, but a double width hallway would be better than the vestibule.

Like the lift, but ideally they need stairs as well.

Split flooring as I mentioned above, why?! My boyfriend has a physical disability, I have two levels in our living area, he can’t get up/down them without holding on to something. How will these guys manage that in a few years, the man is already a bit frail.

@brillig agreed, and then fill it with so much crap it doesn't matter what they changed.

I agree Simon, they don't seem to have really taken his lack of mobility into consideration.

My mother, who is a force to be reckoned with (think Lady Bracknell) said this:
‘Well no surprise there then - he’s put in his ghastly bench seats. His teeth look like a row of bench seats. I really don’t like his design at all. And I’m rather challenged by Dennis’s eyebrows.’

That surprised me, i do prefer Laura’s kitchen
