Apologies if there's already a thread, but I couldn't see one. Anyone watching? Apparently this is a new series.

I'm waiting for the bench seats to make their inevitable appearance......Grin

You'll never get a Stannah lift up those stairs

Puddlesplasher · 05/05/2020 20:19

"I hate it". How rude!

CoolCarrie · 05/05/2020 20:19

That’s a first, “ I hate it” oh dear... it is a wee bit dark in the hall even with the light in the ceiling

DieSchottin93 · 05/05/2020 20:19

If they hate Laura's design (or part of it anyway) I wonder what they'll say about whatever Robert will come up with 😂😂

BruceAndNosh · 05/05/2020 20:19

She said she wanted cosy

MrsDoylesTeaBags · 05/05/2020 20:20

Yeah, they won't go for this one.

Even benches, with loads of storage space underneath would work better.

CoolCarrie · 05/05/2020 20:20

They are not convinced are they?!

bellabelly · 05/05/2020 20:21

Never mind the house, I am just very envious of their swimming pool. Can't wait to see Robert's design...

jay55 · 05/05/2020 20:21

No way they'd go for those stairs in reality.
I think Laura will be delighted if Robert wins this one.

FlamingoAndJohn · 05/05/2020 20:21

‘How does this modern design fit in with the old house?’ Or ‘where can I put my crap?’

I think she didn’t like the snug because she can’t see past the decor.

FlamingoAndJohn · 05/05/2020 20:22

If you want two sinks, put in two sinks.

SimonJT · 05/05/2020 20:22

I did think Laura’s design was a bit underwhelming, but I liked how she had tried to bring original style features back to the hallway.

BruceAndNosh · 05/05/2020 20:22

The Wife is focusing on the wrong things

MrsDoylesTeaBags · 05/05/2020 20:23

I'm really suprised, Laura normally considers their needs better than she has done.

BruceAndNosh · 05/05/2020 20:24

Laura seemed to have 2 breakfast bars and no proper seating in the back room

BinkySodPlop · 05/05/2020 20:26

Just noticed that there's no bannister on the spiral staircase, either. I'd struggle to get up those, and how would they renovate upstairs / get furniture up and down??

BlueCowWonders · 05/05/2020 20:27

Feels like they're padding this out before Robert's...

BruceAndNosh · 05/05/2020 20:27

I always wondered how you pronounce Brise Soleil

FlamingoAndJohn · 05/05/2020 20:27

I don’t think they are going to go for either design.

FlamingoAndJohn · 05/05/2020 20:29

And the bench seats.

Karcheer · 05/05/2020 20:29

How have I never seen this programme before!?!?

CoolCarrie · 05/05/2020 20:30

And here are the benches!

MrsDoylesTeaBags · 05/05/2020 20:30

Okay we appear to have gone into the upside down as I prefer Robert's plan to Laura's. WTF!!!!!!

DieSchottin93 · 05/05/2020 20:30

The vestibule has too much of a nightclub feel for my liking Confused

CoolCarrie · 05/05/2020 20:31

Robert’s turn to win
