I used to have a pair of palazzo pants in a fabric very similar to the rust and cream polka dot hanging behind Fiona. Think they were from Richards Stores in the late 80s. I wore them everywhere (often with the matching top).

I was given a large off cut of waxed fabric by some women I worked with in Zambia. I didn't want to ruin it by sewing it as I am so crap so I have it framed in my spare bedroom. Memories.

I once made several perfectly matched bags. The problem was that with the seam allowance you couldn't just use the bit next to it. So I ended up with this huge bit of fabric with several apparently random large holes in it making the fabric useless. Bags looked fab though.

Well, the wax fabric didn't really work. Loved the fabric for Claire's trousers.
