I'm loving Series 3 so far, it's back on form. Series 2 feels just like a filler between 1 & 2.
I want all of Villanelle's clothes!

Episode 3 picked up towards the end but I'm still finding it a bit slow. V seems to be unravelling and not sure if I like it.

I enjoyed episode 3 apart from one annoying feature. The music/soundtrack for KE has always been pleasing, original and always voiced by women. Twice in this episode the songs' lyrics have been echoing what's happening on the screen in a hey look, underlining of the action: oooh guess what's on E's mind.

Very patronising of the audience.

Nearly as bad as Drive - the Ryan Gosling film that also had this irritating feature.

echt yes, soundtrack just not as good as series 2, but ep 3 I think better than ep 2 in this regard. Though the 'requiem' music in ep 2 in Carolyn's car was stunning (Purcell).
But songs - could do much better, and as you asy, too suggestive.

I don't like watching on iPlayer as you can't rewind/wind accurately - and it's frozen once just when the shot happened!

So it's easier to ask - did anyone catch when the money started being syphoned out of the Geneva account? The accountant was talking about it to Kim in his flat, but did he specify when? If this was 'in last few days' surely one of the guys from Kenny's workplace was involved? Otherwise what's hth point of bringing them into ep 2 at all - the younger guy may be a lot more skilled than he pretends to be.

But obvs doesn't apply if this was happening for weeks/months.
Sooo relieved Carolyn wasn't shot - she's my favourite now (the actress), I did think the accountant was the target but the way they showed it (phew!). I'm also worried that V is becoming actually mad.

@CatAndHisKit I also have my suspicions about the lad from bitter pill. He seemed to solve the code on that spreadsheet very quickly like he knew what it was already.

echt she's amazing, no one does steely yet sensitive better. I think she's no less of a star here than Jodie.

@CatAndHisKit I didn't catch exactly how long the money had been going missing, but didn't they say that the Panda account had been dormant since the MI5 boss Frank was killed in series 1, and Kenny had recently started investigating it again.

I don't really understand why the Bitter Pill people are getting involved in all the investigation stuff. It's not like they could ever risk doing a story on it, or like they are being paid. They must have something to do with Kenny's death.

Gemma and Crinkle I watched it again today - and yes, Crinkle, the account became active in the last two months and transfers started from that dormant one to the Geneva one under the accountant's name - just about the time Kenny started working for the Bitter Pill. So it's very possible that the young guy got too curious about what Kenny was doing (he did question him) and hacked into it and then hacked into the a/c where he could see large sums (or been hired by someone to syphon off the money, someone with a grudge against the 12?). I think it's the young guy because he's less obvious and is all too casual / jokey.
But the accountact didn;t say specifically when the money started to be syphoned off.
I'm not entirely sure why the 12 had to kill him off, presumably as amere accountant he wouldnt know their identities, but ok maybe just in case.
It ridiculos though how the two guys from Bitter Pill aer just taken into confidence - totally unrealistic! And Eve tells then to fear for their lives and still gone on to tell them, what if they even grass Carolyn to MI5 when she's trying to be 'discreet', so unprofessional. But let's see if the rest of the story justifies the sloppy bits.

The whole baby in the bin thing was stupid. Surely someone would have noticed Sasha but the baby in there. I feel like V is becoming a caricature of herself, childlike almost.

Blonde I wonder too, why did they kill the accountant. I don't think he knew who was syphoning the money, he said he'll be finding out to K, also if he did know they'd make him confess surely - not kill him!
Possibly nhe had some inkling of the 12's identities, or at least one of them.
Or they thought HE was syphoning the money.

Crinkle well baby started screeshing after being put in bin, I think the people in the cafe where just too absorbed in their chat. Agree that V is being made OTT, she always had the childlike side (like psychopaths do, the 'I want this toy NOW' attitude) but going on about power is too much even fo her.

I think the fact that the current writer used to do children's progs really shows, to much 'kiddy' stuff / jokes overall. Clowns, toys, etc. Now about what she was like as a baby (yawn) and wanting to find family members (just why? to tell then what she does for a living? ). Still funny but a bit much, series one was more sophisticated. Thankfully Carolyn is still grown up.

Or at the very least he knows who they are.
