Nico moved out and was, he said, sleeping on Gemma’s couch.

He and Gemma were putting his stuff in a storage unit when Villanelle turned up, threatened Nico with a knife to get the recipe for the Dish with the Grey Meat, I think hit him to knock him out, then suffocated Gemma with cellophane. That wasn’t shown, we saw Nico coming to and seeing it.

@cocolapew I don’t think it was ever explicitly answered about whether Nico and Gemma were having an affair but it looked like they were. He claimed they weren’t when Eve rocked up to Gemma’s house. Villanelle killed her- she suffocated wrapped in plastic in Nico’s lock up. Nico then woke up and we didn’t see him again until he was in S3E1.

@AllTheseThingsThatIHaveNotDone I don't think we know what the Keepers do yet, but do you remember ages ago when Villanelle was holding Konstantin hostage in his house and demanding to know who the 12 are and he said I don't know their names but they are the Keepers.

So sad to see Kenny go, I really liked him, but still loved the first episode. Even silly little things like Kenny nicking the other guy's Tangfastics adds great little bits of humour. Can't wait for the next one.

Maybe the owner of the Tangfastics had Kenny killed!

Blondes, not sure re your post but we didn’t see villanelle suffocating Gemma.

It was awful to see the clip of Gemma's cellophaned face again! That was one of the worst, senseless and unnecessary killings. We didn't see it but Villanelle definitely did it, as she asked Niko who he loved and then when he angered her by saying Eve not Gemma, she killed her. Really savage.

4) I think they though Kenny was getting closer and also acting on his own as a loose cannon (they could predict actions of the MI5 better than an individuals'). He did boast how he was making progress.

But I STILL don't get why she had to kill Gemma - Gemma wouldn't tell the police as utterly terrified but even if she did, V was never scared of police / used to MI5. You'd think she'd only be too pleased that Gemma may be taking Eve's H away, even if he didn't quite love her. He had enough of Eve which he just said in this new ep. Gemma is the one s.2 murder that I feel upset about.
9) she stay near her work - wants to be off-radar, also house reminds her of Nico who's not there, would feel weird/lonely. I think it was actual auntie. She's not working anymore (yet).

Lilac I absolutely agree with Gemma re senseless and unnecessary killing of Gemma (yes, the names!) - out of all other murders. G was nice essentially. Nico admitted that he deserves better than Eve'sa treatment, so why not bloody let the woman who actually appreciates him, be with him. Mind you although awful, at least she handled her carefully (not a horrid bloody murder like many).

I can't remember whether V ever met Kenny via Eve/Carolyn? But it looks like she was the killer asked by the 12 due to his investigations.

Kenny though knows for sure how Villanelle looks even if they haven't met - he couldn't haev been manipulated into going to the roof with her, would she be strong enough to drag him upstairs (though poss if he was already killed before then)?

But why would 12 want to kill him knowing he's the son of the MI5 boss who were already in the know about them?? They were left alone by MI5, and now Carolyn - and Eve I'm sure - will be onto then like the tom of bricks! Yes Kenny was becoming dangerous but they could have done this further on much more subtly staging it as a road accident he was riding a bike) rather than a blatant nasty murder!

Mind you, they prob know that Carolyn is now under supervision of the creepy new guy and will haev to act secretly again and on her own (with Eve). Still hugely unintelligent not to arrange it as a road accident so nobody could think of revenge/further digging.

But how are you defining senseless? She sees killing Gemma as a defence of Eve, plus finding Gemma really annoying. It wouldn’t be much fun otherwise!

I think Kenny was lured to the roof by noises.
