We’ve been looking forward for this for weeks - sending each other memes, watching the last season etc etc.

My DP was asleep in bed at 9 and I fell asleep on the sofa during gogglebox. Shit on it. 10pm is too late when spending the whole day isolating.

Great Friday night entertainment - Gogglebox, then Friday Night Dinner and then that new cartoon .

My favourite bit was when Martin told the boys they could use his caravan with their girlfriends:

"Ra-ra-ra-ra.... Ra-ra-ra-RA-ra-ra-ra"

Also, does anyone know what type of dog Milson is?? She's gorgeous!

OMG I love Milson!! She's gorgeous! I genuinely cried when Wilson died.

Milson is a standard poodle cross of some kind. Her face looks a bit cocker-like but I can't quite work out the exact cross yet.

Looking at her again, she's quite slim in the body - maybe a blue merle lurcher or greyhound x standard poodle?

I really enjoyed last night's episode. I wasn't keen on the last series so wasn't sure what to expect this time.

Dds and I loved this last night.
Much needed entertainment for us. Follow ups are often a bit disappointing (I know this isn’t just the second series but the 6th but still, when you look forward to something you can build it up in your head and then be very disappointed- Gavin and Stacey Christmas special... need I say anymore?!) but this just made us chuckle from start to finish.

I'm in the UK, Ginfordinner, usually watch on my laptop. It plays the ads then just cuts out half way through the opening credits. I was so looking forward to it!

I agree, didn’t enjoy the last series as much as others but Fridays episode was back on form!

I thought it was ace! I haven't watched Friday Night Dinner for a good couple of years as I thought it had got too silly and not really funny. Return to form. Love Martin! Also ' the water people', ' Milsonnn...'and the way Jim said 'Sewerage' in such a fond/ wistful tone. Love the family banter and Martin's 'shithole' caravan!

I shrieked when Jim split the tank of you-know-what!

I loved it 😂 My favourite bit was when Jackie said “Well aren’t you going to say something to the boys, Martin?!” and after a second of Martin looking blank, came out with “Always wear a sheath boys!” 😂😂😂

I honestly can't watch Paul Ritter in anything else without expecting him to take his shirt off or exclaim "Shit on it!"

I love this show. Best thing on TV bar none. I am always puzzled why it doesn't clean up or even seem to get recognition at award shows. I've never met anyone, who having watched it, doesn't relate to the family in some way and fall in love with them.

Jackie is so funny! Her excitement when she heard the boys had girlfriends! (both called Lucy )
