Yes I also thought that about her not telling him and this dragging out! I'm assuming she still doesn't know about the Huntingtons (don't remember that in the summary at the start) so I guess it comes out later and she could get mad he didn't tell her but he'll say he thought she wasn't pregnant anymore so why would he

Blondeshavemorefun · 03/05/2020 16:56

I quite liked the way f told will she was preg

But bless him for assuming it was his and stuff they would work it out

So yes ethans. And not sure will knows he slept with her

So he will prob mention to Ethan and he will click baby is his

I think from last night's episode it was very clear that both Will and Ethan know who is the father of the baby.

JudyCoolibar · 03/05/2020 18:41

And why when they picked her ear up off the floor did she still have a very visible ear?

I think it was just the top half of the ear that was sliced off.

But what I couldn't follow was how come, having apparently been taken up to the ward before what was, presumably, fairly urgent surgery, she was able to wander back to A&E to look around and find the creepy therapist. I'd have thought they'd be busy prepping her for surgery, possibly administering sedatives, etc, and indeed that she would still be pretty shocked, so that it really wouldn't be that easy to escape.

Mumdiva99 · 03/05/2020 19:49

That looked like a pretty big bit of ear to me. Grin

I didn't think they took her up to the ward. I thought they stopped to find her mum.

purpleme12 · 03/05/2020 20:21

I just completely missed the ear last night! Blush

QueenofmyPrinces · 03/05/2020 21:23

Just started watching last nights episode and was so, so confused when the “last time on casualty” clips were completely new to me!!

My heart was skipping a beat at the thought of having missed what looked like a really good episode!!!

When I couldn’t figure out what was going on I can’t straight to this thread and I’m so thankful for the explanation!

Really gutted the episode was pulled though - it looked really good.

Anyway, I’m heading back off to iPlayer to watch Saturday’s show....

I wonder why Will was so pissed off that it led to the loud brawl and violent outburst?

I guess we can only speculate....

Do you think it’s simply because he was angry Ethan hadn’t told him that he’d had a ONS with Fenisha??

I’m not sure that deserves a punch though?

bruffin · 04/05/2020 12:10

What's Bluebell's mother been in? Can't place her.

I don't want to watch Saturday's because I'm so irritated by the high-handed cancelling of an episode. FFS, give a warning at the beginning so people can choose whether to watch or not, but just to cancel it is completely infantilising the audience.

I hope they see sense and put it on iPlayer.

purpleme12 · 05/05/2020 09:00

I hope so too but I'm not holding my breath!

CherryValanc · 05/05/2020 18:40

If you look at the Casualty episode lists on iBBC there is the message:

Casualty on BBC iPlayer
The original planned Episode 33, filmed before the spread of Covid-19, was felt inappropriate to broadcast on 2nd May 2020 in the current circumstances. It has therefore been skipped.

Also they have last Saturday's as episode 33 and the one that was shown on last Saturday week as episode 32. So in other words the skipped episode has been erased from the list completely.

purpleme12 · 05/05/2020 18:41

Yes someone on Facebook said it had been erased completely Angry

Blondeshavemorefun · 06/05/2020 00:36

Wonder wat was so bad in the episode to skip

Infection ?

Can’t be worse then COVID

And yes I looked at the episode number and missed it totally out

OP posts:
bruffin · 06/05/2020 07:59

I read it was about a mystery disease spreading in a local homeless group

DickKerrLadies · 06/05/2020 08:38

I wonder if it was one of those episodes that included characters voicing criticism about the NHS. Both Casualty and Holby don't shy away from doing so. I can imagine that some of those comments don't come across as well in the current situation. It's one thing having Connie tell Noel that there's no money for another receptionist but that's quite mild compared to other lines/scenes I can think of in the past.

But I'm probably wrong!

I don't really believe that the BBC think that we're all too delicate to watch it, I'm more inclined to think that they're trying to cover their arses in some way.

EoinMcLovesCakeJumper · 06/05/2020 09:22

Yeah, that makes sense. I think it would go down pretty badly at the moment, but perhaps it could have been edited to remove any such lines instead of completely erased. I feel a bit sorry for the actors playing the bit parts in that episode, now they'll never get to see their big moment Grin

DickKerrLadies · 06/05/2020 09:34

but perhaps it could have been edited to remove any such lines instead of completely erased.

That did cross my mind but the writers do like to intertwine everything (such as having an entire episode about being a single mother) so it may not have been that easy.

It's going to cause a lot of confusion in a few years when the episodes are repeated on whatever channel!

bruffin · 06/05/2020 15:24

It was a whole story line so I cant see how it can be edited. It was a story about an outbreak if an unknown disease in a homeless tent city. The storyline for each episode is on IMDb and I'm sure I read it last Saturday, but that was edited since

EoinMcLovesCakeJumper · 06/05/2020 16:38

I meant that if there were lines where characters criticised the NHS, they could maybe have cut those. Obviously if the reason it was pulled was because of the storyline itself, then that was never going to be an option.

CherryValanc · 07/05/2020 08:06

Think this is the best we'll get:

www.digitalspy.com/soaps/casualty/a32389404/casualty-stories-missed-skipped-episode/

I certainly missed some of it during the preview (probably because I was spending too much time thinking "huh - im confused - what's happened?" even after hearing the voice over explain!

purpleme12 · 07/05/2020 08:54

Yes exactly you're not expecting it so you need to process it!

Thanks for this link it had information about Marty and his dad that I never picked up!
