When Grace was born I had a 7 week old baby. That baby will be 14 next month.

Blondeshavemorefun · 26/02/2021 20:46

Guess we will see happens Tom

Will her age be mentioned

OP posts:
SoupDragon · 26/02/2021 21:08

If she was her real screen age of 14, Connie would have screamed "she's only 14!!!" at Leon and gone mad.

Blondeshavemorefun · 26/02/2021 21:29

Excaltly. But she might say next week to the home she slept with, look she’s only 16/17

Obv they have aged her

Connie says she's 16 in the preview clip

JustDanceAddict · 28/02/2021 10:35

I thought she wasn’t as old as 16 and I was right! They’ve obv aged her, but would’ve been better for story if she had been underage as my thinking is well, 16 is a bit young for Leon (early 20s?) but not illegal! Surely it’s more a moral question and the fa t she’s MRs B’s daughter.
They didn’t sleep together so a bit of a non-story to me.

SoupDragon · 28/02/2021 11:46

They've aged her closer to the actress's real age (17) It makes no sense from a story point of view though, especially when it's quite obvious from Google what her date of birth is.

JimmyJabs · 28/02/2021 13:15

Was that the end of the Grace and Leon storyline, then? She dumped him and did a silly flounce? I'm not sure what the point of that was, if that's so. In fact, I'm struggling to see what the point of Leon is, full stop. All we've learned about him so far is that he fancies himself an awful lot and he knows how to fix a toaster.

I was pleased that this was a more Jan-focused episode, BUT very disappointed that they've decided to make her into a criminal now. I simply don't think she would do that, it's very inconsistent with her character up until now.

SoupDragon · 28/02/2021 13:16

The point of Leon is that they needed another paramedic. That's about it!

purpleme12 · 28/02/2021 13:23

To me, it's all changed cos of covid filming.
I'm hoping it's that anyway

SparkysMagicPiano · 28/02/2021 14:32

I actually shouted at the TV at the end of the episode.

No way in a million years would Jan have agreed to that (unless I missed something and she is only pretending to go along with it?)

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 28/02/2021 16:06

I agree about Jan. If her son (Ross?) was so manipulative there's no way she would be swayed so easily. So her world's going to fall apart next? The paramedics seem even more doomed to unhappiness than the rest of the HCPs.

JimmyJabs · 06/03/2021 20:42

Oh god, Jan is such a terrible liar. She's being shifty af. This is a rubbish storyline, hopefully she'll prove to be so bad at drug running that she'll be caught straight away and it won't drag on over the next however many weeks.

excelledyourself · 06/03/2021 20:49

What's Jan up to? I've not seen this since Connie caught Grace with Leon.

JimmyJabs · 06/03/2021 21:20

Her waster of a son is in prison and has basically emotionally blackmailed her into smuggling painkillers in for him to supply to other inmates. Last week, he was in the A&E because he hot beaten up and this is what he's doing to get them to leave him alone.

excelledyourself · 06/03/2021 21:32

Thank you @JimmyJabs

spiderlight · 07/03/2021 00:00

I really do not buy for one minute the idea that Jan would do this. She's going to blow her career and her marriage and potentially kill people rather than just appeal her waster son's transfer being refused? 🤨

Optimist1 · 07/03/2021 08:50

This. 100%.
FoonySpucker · 07/03/2021 09:29

I almost didn't watch last night because I was sooooo pissed off that they made Jan's character agree to do this.

Not only is is totally preposterous that she would agree to it in the first place, I cannot believe that they are also trying to say that it would never have occurred to her that it wasn't a one off. Nobody is that dumb.

Am I the only cynic one that thinks that Ross is lying to her about being victimised?

SoupDragon · 07/03/2021 09:38

I don't think he was lying as he had previous injuries and looked genuinely scared about going back. It's a very elaborate ruse if it is a ruse!

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 07/03/2021 10:39

It won't take long to come out that there are vials of morphine or whatever missing from the ambulance supplies, surely? Or poor Leon will be blamed.

There is no way that someone who was totally estranged from her manipulative son for so long, would do an about-turn so easily/quickly.

Am I the only one who wants Connnie and Jacob to get back together again? BTW what happened to his son - where did he go?

FoonySpucker · 07/03/2021 10:56

@SoupDragon

Time will tell. I really hope this doesn't drag on for weeks though.

Jan might as well walk around with a flashing neon badge saying "I'm up to no good".

spiderlight · 07/03/2021 11:29

I'd completely forgotten that Jacob had a son! No idea what happened to him.

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 07/03/2021 11:42

I last remember him being around during the storyline where Jacob's mum was dying. That was quite a while ago now though?

Optimist1 · 07/03/2021 14:06

Presumably a prisoner needing paramedic attention will be fairly seriously injured, more than can be dealt with by prison doctor. So for each delivery Jan makes in future an inmate will have to suffer serious injury? Also the delivery's completely dependent on Jan being in the ambulance that attends, so if she's tied up elsewhere there's yet another injury that has to be orchestrated to get her and her rather paltry amount of drugs inside?
