Poor Doris, superspreader in the care home.

Skipsurvey · 02/01/2021 20:15

Wonder if there will be complaints

purpleme12 · 02/01/2021 20:18

Why would there be complaints?

Skipsurvey · 02/01/2021 20:19

Bit depressing

Calabasa · 02/01/2021 20:20

im not enjoying it, feels like they've just used it as a vehicle to try and get through to the deniers/idiots.

We get enough of this shoved down our throats day in, day out, without it being 'entertainment' too.

NewCatMummy · 02/01/2021 20:23

Not Noel!!

BLTLover · 02/01/2021 20:23

Noel's dead?

Calabasa · 02/01/2021 20:25

convenient way to off the cast members leaving too...

@expressoexpresso ooh good call!

RJnomore1 · 02/01/2021 20:29

Connie Beauchamp is without a doubt my favourite person ever to grace a tv screen.

SoupDragon · 02/01/2021 20:30

I thought it was very well done and perfectly timed.

Ffsnosexallowed · 02/01/2021 20:31

Oh that was hard. Surreal to look at the start of this thread when all this was still ahead of us.

Monstermissy36 · 02/01/2021 20:31

I don't usually watch casualty but new series do thought I'd give it a go.... I didn't like it's the all, I do t wanna see Covid in the drama I watch bad enough watching the news 🙄 I agree it's like scare tactics to make people stay in...

SoupDragon · 02/01/2021 20:31

But why did Connie look like she had been mugged whilst the others had barely a dent?

purpleme12 · 02/01/2021 20:31

👍 true
Monstermissy36 · 02/01/2021 20:31

So many typos there.... 🙈

SoupDragon · 02/01/2021 20:32

It's not "scare tactics" they had to do it. They did it with Holby too. One Covid episode then the rest post lockdown.

purpleme12 · 02/01/2021 20:32

@SoupDragon

But why did Connie look like she had been mugged whilst the others had barely a dent?
Trying to convey she's had the most on her shoulders/all the responsibility of them all and all the lack of PPE seeming to fall on her etc etc etc
Skipsurvey · 02/01/2021 20:32
Sad

I want something light hearted

purpleme12 · 02/01/2021 20:33

Normally I avoid covid stuff cos I want to avoid it but I make exceptions for Hospital and of course Casualty cos Casualty is my all time favourite programme

Violetroselily · 02/01/2021 20:34

I thought that was very moving

Al1langdownthecleghole · 02/01/2021 20:35

That was a difficult watch, but really well done.

bengalcat · 02/01/2021 20:35

My DD - 19 loves Casualty so just watched it - enjoyed it but poor Noël no
