oh my god that is exciting!! who was it who was filming?

spiderlight · 09/12/2020 10:15

None of the main characters, unfortunately. I only knew it was Casualty because of talk on our local FB group, as they film in our area quite a lot. First time in our street though!

MadisonAvenue · 10/12/2020 21:26

Ohhhh...the cast and crew Christmas video is rather interesting.

There’s a trailer too, really can’t wait for this to be back!

Eagerly awaiting the return of casualty!

Spidey66 · 19/12/2020 17:43

@spiderlight

I've had two lots of Casualty-related excitement in the past few days. Went out for lunch last week to a place beloved by media types and there was a guy on the next table with a BBC lanyard on, ringing people up, introducing himself as 'M from BBC Casualty' and arranging use of a barber's shop as a green-room for a location shoot. Then on Saturday DH went to clean up a massive dog shite someone had left outside our house and came back in to announce that they were filming at the top of our road, so if you see a scene with a woman pushing a pram across a road, look out for my poor DH with a shovel in the background!

I was just looking at the TV schedule and come looking for this thread :)

SoupDragon · 02/01/2021 19:42

I did not like the implication of that opening 🙁

EspressoExpresso · 02/01/2021 19:51

Calling it now, Charlie dies of covid caught at work. Connie is talking to his ghost at the moment...

RJnomore1 · 02/01/2021 19:54

Oh no it’s jumping too and fro !

I’m so excited to have this back it’s my favourite programme ever.

Skipsurvey · 02/01/2021 20:00

Bit emotional

SoupDragon · 02/01/2021 20:01

It's horrendous because it's likely not far from reality 🙁

TwoCupsOfLemonTea · 02/01/2021 20:01

Eagerly awaited here ... half way in and I've remembered I was getting sick of it last year and I can't say I've been drawn back in!

LIZS · 02/01/2021 20:04

All very political. Why are these people being treated in a and e not transferred to icu/wards?

SoupDragon · 02/01/2021 20:05

@LIZS

Because Holby city isn't on until Tuesday night
thegirlwithkaleidoscopeeyes · 02/01/2021 20:09

I gave up a couple of years ago along with Holly, been catching up slowly with Holly and watching tonight’s Casualty. Kind if wishing I wasn’t. It seems well done Sad and reminiscent of early political Casualty (we used to play spot the political message as a family when I was a teen!!).

thegirlwithkaleidoscopeeyes · 02/01/2021 20:12

Holby not Holly. Grrr autocorrect Angry
