Oh sorry Lev, not Dev.

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 02/08/2020 15:49

I was wondering how I missed that Dev from Coronation St was now in Casualty Grin

Only joking CherryValanc

I was wondering if the brother/sister with brother dying, and the brother/sister(actually a brother) was meant to show something about family relationships that went over my head.

QueenofmyPrinces · 04/08/2020 16:40

I have a feeling the brother/sister duo will be back.

It just seemed like a bit of an abrupt ending to it all especially seeing as was about to be investigated to see if he had bone cancer.

Watch this space Grin

m00rfarm · 04/08/2020 16:41

I didn't know tom chambers was the father of grace!

Who did you think was?! Grin

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 08/08/2020 12:37

I didn't notice Dylan seeing Lev kiss the other guy either must pay attention

I thought Connie and Noel may end up an item too, just because it's the most unlikely pairing ever. I think 'Will' could be her type, so that's not going to happen. Did Tom Chambers' character have an affair with Jac at some point too (hence the bad blood between her and Connie), or have I got him muddled up with Joseph (who made a suprise appearance with Patsy Kensit not so many moons ago, in Holby City)?

QueenofmyPrinces · 08/08/2020 15:20

Ooh, I missed Dylan seeing Lev kissing that guy.

It wasn’t very obvious.

At the end of the scene the camera panned back as though it was filming from inside the paramedic office and it showed the man (I don’t know what his name is) walking away from Lev and leaving.

As the scene draws to a close you can see the reflection of Dylan’s face in the window to show that he saw everything the camera did.

@m00rfarm

I was wondering if the brother/sister with brother dying, and the brother/sister(actually a brother) was meant to show something about family relationships that went over my head.
Have just watched this episode and I think - because Faith was the nurse treating the sister-that's-now-a-brother - we are meant to see how accepting she was of Liz's declaration that in fact he is Marcus and how she gently tried to encourage the brother to understand the pain and confusion that Marcus had been going through - and all the while Faith's husband is going through this massive wrestle with his own sexuality/identity which is clearly going to cause enormous turmoil to Faith's own family.

Does that make sense? Confused

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 09/08/2020 09:46

Does anyone think that Fenisha is gradually falling in love with Ethan? The question is whether the big reveal about his MND 'time bomb' will come sooner rather than later. I suspect it will come too late for her to have a termination.

TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross · 09/08/2020 10:10

I think she is starting to realise that he might be good partner/father material and is regretting rejecting him.

Sorry, Duffy, but now that she is dead and Charlie is stepping down from his position, I've enjoyed the new stories that they have coming to the boil. I thought David's story last night was very poignant, and the Lev/Dylan/Faith triangle is going to be explosive.

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 09/08/2020 10:25

Yes, I thought how they portrayed David struggling was very well done. Glad he told Rosa in the end.

Usually, David is Dylan's sounding board, but not there for him at the moment due to his own issues. I suspect Dylan won't play dirty (it's not in his nature) but will let the cat out of the bag in a moment of exasperation.

DaisyStarburst · 09/08/2020 11:49

I have bipolar and this was very close to home for me, well done David.

QueenofmyPrinces · 09/08/2020 12:15

Wonderful acting from David and the actor who played the young man.

kerstina · 09/08/2020 14:21

Thought last nights episode was amazing . I have suffered a breakdown where I was sectioned and it was very emotional watching it . Seemed to really touch me . David's portrayal was spot on you really fear getting into the same headspace you were previously in and work so hard to stay well . Well done to all the actors , script writers ect involved and thank you .

Pobblebonk · 09/08/2020 22:50

How many weeks pregnant is Fenisha by now? She seems to have an unfeasibly small waistline.

Sojo88 · 09/08/2020 22:58

I read in an article discussing future spoilers that she's around 4 months pregnant.

purpleme12 · 09/08/2020 23:07

Well I reckon it's going to come out very soon...
I'm next week's trailer it looks like Fenisha will be trapped with Jan and Jan is hurt so I reckon she'll end up telling someone she's pregnant then...

EoinMcLovesCakeJumper · 10/08/2020 08:38

I was just thinking that Fenisha must have a longer gestation period than is usual. She's not showing at all!

QueenofmyPrinces · 10/08/2020 10:30

My guess is that it come out in a calm manner, and that she will come clean to Ethan, expecting him to be happy because they’ve been getting closer later, and then he will tell her about his diagnosis

Lockdownseperation · 10/08/2020 10:38

I was wondering this! No early pregnancy tiredness either but this is the world of casualty where the truth is very sttetched.
Lockdownseperation · 10/08/2020 10:38

*stretched

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 10/08/2020 14:56

Well knowing Casualty I wouldn't be surprised that after Fenisha finds out from Ethan about the Huntington's that she decides not to have the baby (depending on how long she has been pregnant)
After that happens Ethan finds out that Cal lied to him about the Huntington's result & that it was Cal that had the HD gene not Ethan.

Or maybe Ethan starts to explore his Huntington's diagnosis as he's never been officially given it. Then after medical tests he finds out that Cal lies to him & he doesn't have the HD gene.
Cue Ethan & Fenisha & baby live happily ever after but Will gets obsessed & starts stalking them ending up in a siege situation at Holby (again)
Where Charlie with the help of Rash manage save the day.
During this time Connie & Noel have been trapped in a lift for hours & actually find they have a lot in common & they fall in love with each other & get married.

Obviously I'm too invested 🤣

Lockdownseperation · 10/08/2020 15:05

Apart from Connie and Noel that sounds like a standard casualty storyline. I’m thinking Connie and Charlie, not that there are many men left to choose from.

I’m off to look for spoilers.

Blondeshavemorefun · 11/08/2020 09:13

Behind as usual

Just seen last weeks and Dylan seeing the gay kiss with lev

@TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross that is very astute of you. Tho easy to accept a persons sexuality if has no bearing on you
