It was only a minor point in terms of the overall plot, but I was really taken aback by how vicious the Joker kid was to Harley Quinn when she turned him down. Such a well written display of male entitlement, and a nice little twist to demonstrate that actually she didn't need her dad or a boyfriend to protect her but could do it herself.

I was a bit shocked that Will brought the dad in after she had said she didn't want to see him, though. Surely he would have checked with her first?

Am I right in thinking Jans partner the policewoman, is the lady who plays the the barrister type woman in Coronation Street?

I loved the awe that Fenisha had in her eyes as she gazed adoringly at Ethan!!

Hopefully she will fall desperately in love with him now.

I find the whole Faith/Dylan/Lev thing a bit odd - it’s all just come out of nowhere. I felt so, so sad for her though when she talked about the cancer killing her little boy. I really struggle to watch childhood cancer storylines

I feel like the Lev/Faith/Dylan triangle hasn't been very well thought through. There have been almost no hints up until a couple of episodes ago that Faith and Lev didn't have a great marriage, that she possibly fancied Dylan back, or that Lev was a repressed homosexual! It seems very much crowbarred in to me.

I do like the Fenisha/Ethan thing, purely because it will really piss Will off if they end up together, and I think it would be good for him to be the loser for once . I wish somebody would look at me the way Fenisha was looking at Ethan...

I wonder if the writers have story arcs 'done and dusted' before they start the characters 'journeys'? Agree that it's just too convenient that they've set Faith and Dylan's romance up with such a contrived/convenient Lev 'exit clause'.

I remember reading about Connie's upcoming romance which will knock everyone for six as no one would have ever thought that Connie would get together with...........well it's got to be Charlie hasn't it.

IIRC, I proposed Charlie as Connie's surprise love interest when it was first mentioned? Have to admit I posted that just for laughs, but it's looking possible. Would it be outrageous to wish they head off together into the sunset very quickly? After all, no notice required at HCH!

I am fairly certain in the real world the Consultant Clinical Lead has to be a Consultant themselves but I realise Casualty rarely follows actual real rules!!

Yes, @Blondeshavemorefun, Connie and Jacob were an item for a while, but the hint was that Connie's new love interest would be surprising, so it can't be him again.

Hmm. I'm not going to comment on the trans thing - suffice it to say that the brother went from intolerance to acceptance in a remarkably short space of time. As is usually the case with Casualty's Ishoo of the Week.

I also don't really care about Jacob's dead friend, whose significance I seem to have missed. Were we meant to know who he and his sister were?

Anyway, it was confusing, I couldn't work out who was in the wrong- as per the typical Casualty story with a 180 turb around resolving all wrong at the end.

The Dev story made me go 'oh' then "ooooh' at the end (when Dev suddenly kissed the man, and the when it was revealed Dylan saw). Wonder if that'll be a quickly dealt with story.

They were trying to promote the message that even if you don't understand transexuals you should accept it till you understand it.
