Thought better start a thread as no one else had

Next sat looks good - with poor ruby struggling to juggle work and harmony

And matty pushes jade to the limit

I wondered about connies daughter too, also David's new wife has vanished (and his son for that matter) to Spain I think (was briefly mentioned something about her mother being ill) although maybe that was another thing that happened in the banned episode?

I'm finding connies dramatic personality change a bit hard to swallow too, from lying, stealing drug addict who threw Duffy under the bus, to super squishy softly-spoken, caring about everyone in what 6 weeks?

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 25/05/2020 16:08

I guess the personality change could be put down to her no longer being addicted to painkillers though? Maybe both Jacob and Connie are in better places to #getiton sometime soon.

At the beginning of the episode I did have this quickly dismissed notion that Connie's new romantic interest could be Noel - surely not?

MrsHoolie · 26/05/2020 07:14

Noel and Connie 😂

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 26/05/2020 08:09

@MrsHoolie I agree but the blurb suggested a surprising romance!

EoinMcLovesCakeJumper · 26/05/2020 16:02

I thought that was referring to her Sapphic crush on Archie, but then it never materialised into a romance! It's hard to think of any men on the Holby staff that Connie would think was worth the time of day. Maybe Dylan if he gets his heart broken by Faith??

Optimist1 · 26/05/2020 18:08

Any chance she's take her promise to Duffy to "look after Charlie" literally?? Grin Grin Grin

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 26/05/2020 18:18

With Connie virtually anyone would be improbable TBQH. Rash (he's not been in it the past few weeks), David and yes even Dylan....

EoinMcLovesCakeJumper · 28/05/2020 17:40

Bad news, folks. According to my TV guide, this Saturday's episode is going to feature wholly unacceptable levels of Charlie - and arsey, verbally abusive Charlie at that.

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 28/05/2020 17:43

Oh dear. Actually I reckon it's likely Connie and Charlie will get it together - that's so improbable it's bound to happen!

EoinMcLovesCakeJumper · 30/05/2020 21:16

Please shoot him, ffs.

NewCatMummy · 30/05/2020 21:27

Oh FGS, is Charlie back in a job again?! Let the man retire and the department move on!

I think Archie will come back and sweep Connie off her feet.

purpleme12 · 30/05/2020 21:32

Well that was quick from Charlie being down and out to being back in a job! A matter of hours!

Yes was she given a warning without having signed it in the end?
Or is there nothing in her file??
How are things with her and Jan now?....

DivGirl · 31/05/2020 07:32

God I love Dylan. The actor is fantastic, and I can't wait for he and Faith to get together.

I enjoyed last night's episode, but I always like getting my casualty fix.

EoinMcLovesCakeJumper · 31/05/2020 08:30

Yes, the Dylan actor is great, but now that I think about it, I can only remember seeing him in one other thing, years ago. I think he's wasted in Casualty, but then again, if he leaves we'll only have Jan to keep us watching.

I found Will hugely unpleasant this week, but I can't put my finger on why.

purpleme12 · 31/05/2020 09:32

But Dylan's romance can only end in tears...
And violence from Lev..

Optimist1 · 31/05/2020 11:13

I'm getting cross with Faith now - she knows Dylan's attracted to her but she still gives him lingering wide-eyed looks and talks to him in that whispery, intimate way. Dylan's not entirely innocent, but at least his body language is normal. I think they crossed a line last night, and as PP has said, it ain't going to end well.

Councilworker · 31/05/2020 15:56

Ffs. Can't take more Charlie nonsense. He just needs to go. Surely he isn't popular with the audience. We can't be alone in our dislike of his wooden acting

I really enjoyed last weeks. Proper storylines and no Charlie

Tho from what I’ve read he was back Saturday just gone 😂

No episode again this Saturday. I guess they must be running out of things to air.

DivGirl · 04/06/2020 17:55

I think I read somewhere that that's them now out of episodes.
WhatICallMyUsername · 04/06/2020 22:19

I wonder if that's why Holby has come back on this week, so viewers of both have one or the other
