Have they ever had a mass cull on EE? Not just families going but dying? Is the nearest Ronnie & Roxy?

SinisterBumFacedCat · 22/02/2020 22:53

Why did Phil keep banging on about giving Keano the keys?

tobee · 22/02/2020 23:03

Just actually right now sitting a few yards away from where it all happened coincidentally.

tobee · 22/02/2020 23:03

Yes that was strange Sinister

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 22/02/2020 23:10

While everyone is trying to remember when Phil went rogue ( I cannot either Grin there was an episode years ahp that gave an insight into his background that made my heart twist a bit .

One Christmas Eve , Phil'n'Grant's Dad (Eric) had stayed up putting together a train set for them. They were overly excited and sneaked down with a candle to peek. No harm done ................until Eric found the candlewax on the floor and ripped the toy apart .

He went for Grant, Phil stepped in, (to save hos brother) Eric shoved his face down onto the draining board (which he recalled smelled of bleach) then took his belt to him, yelling "Take it like a man!" Sad even though he was no more than a young boy .

So all his life he protected Grant,Peggy,Sam from harm and was big on faaaaamily but seemed to go down the same path as his own Dad when it came to reprimanding them.

Bewareofthekitten · 22/02/2020 23:33

I’m so shocked they killed Denny off but I suppose this allows opportunity to bring Michele back. She was such a fantastic character and her and Sharons friendship came across so real and raw.
And she never will need her more then ever now.

tobee · 22/02/2020 23:42

Sue Tully though?

Chienloup · 23/02/2020 00:11

God yes. It would have to be Susan Tully, such is never going to happen, so I think we have to let that one go. If they kill Halfway and then bring back Fake Michelle I won't forgive them - double travesty.

catinb0oots · 23/02/2020 01:35

Where is Jay in all of this? And Lola?

Aria20 · 23/02/2020 07:22

How much better does Sharon look in that photo without the huge eyelashes!

Yabadee · 23/02/2020 08:08

I hope grant makes an appearance in the aftermath, I luffs him 😍

Blondeshavemorefun · 23/02/2020 08:46

Maybe Lola was looking after her spoilt brat daughter

Agree michelle would never come back

Or grant

Unless new heads

I don't get why they portray lexi as a brattish character. They have done the same to Amy too. As far as I can tell from the programme they are both parented well and aren't actually spoilt by the parents.

itsgettingweird · 23/02/2020 08:54

Oh god no. Nuchelle can stay wherever she disappeared off to suddenly. She was awful!

southeastdweller · 23/02/2020 08:58

I noticed a few weeks ago Sharon was looking at pics of the old Michelle - maybe the writers and producers way of saying that bringing the character back played by a new actress was a mistake and she won't be returning.

The80sweregreat · 23/02/2020 09:34

Which keys did Phil give to Ken? I was puzzled but maybe he was talking about the arches?

Bluebelltulip · 23/02/2020 09:43

I thought Phil was talking metaphorically about keys to Phil's life (family, business etc).

The80sweregreat · 23/02/2020 09:58

He didn't really do much with Ken did he? He let him run the arches but they never have any cars or customers or do any work do they? He asked him to look out for Louise after her kidnap ordeal in a container but that was more a threat than anything ' fatherly!' He just likes to think his looking out for these boys but it's all threats and holding their arms up theirs backs , mostly. When Jay was in trouble with that Star girl a while back he immediately took against him without listening to the evidence and threw him out!
He is up and down with Ben : only one his ever been ok with is Shirl and even she shot him once?! 😂 most relationships his had are toxic and violent and he abandoned Sharon on more than one occasion then wondered why she had an affair. His answer to that was to send her over to Oz to see Michelle rather than look onto his soul!
You could write a book about him but I still like the character as he is so complex! Plus Steve is a good actor and can still be menacing. Denny might affect him though , but he'll just blame others I guess.

SinisterBumFacedCat · 23/02/2020 10:23

Agree about Phil being a useless adoptive father to these boys he collects. He pretty much used Denny as a weapon against Sharon then abandoned him and left the country. Jack was a better stepdad to Denny. He rewards them with naming them in his will, or disinherits them, it’s pretty toxic. Meanwhile the Mitchell girls (Lexi, Amy and Louise) are spoilt brat princesses. Would be good if one broke the mould.

aprilfools19 · 23/02/2020 12:27

Finally caught up!! I’m not usually any good at predicting storylines but I’m pretty chuffed WiFi myself for this one:

19/02/2020 13:23 aprilfools19

I’m thinking they may do a super dramatic scene switching between Denny dying and Sharon giving birth. And we see Denny drowning and it keeps going back to Sharon and the audience is lead to believe the baby is born sleeping just as Denny is dying then we hear a cry from the baby but while Denny drowning is on screen... just a thought

aprilfools19 · 23/02/2020 13:00

Do you reckon it’ll come out that Ian had locked Denny down there? Since the boat didn’t fully sick there’ll be an investigation as to what happened- see the door bashed in and question what happened. May even be camera footage?? I kind of hope Sharon doesn’t find out. As much as I dislike Ian, their friendship is so old and genuine it would be really sad if she ended up hating him

itsgettingweird · 23/02/2020 13:08

April we've had some very good predictions (not from me!) in the past but that was a good one. Grin

aprilfools19 · 23/02/2020 13:11

Just realised I said WiFi this of course meant to say with 😅

InvisibleWomenMustBeRead · 23/02/2020 13:26

@aprilfools19 Denny left a voicemail for Sharon saying that Ian locked him in.

I can't believe that they have killed Denny though - so harsh and how will Sharon recover from this! So truly awful!

aprilfools19 · 23/02/2020 13:28

invisibile oh yeh! Totally forgot about that.
