Ah so after a bit of Googling it seems I've mixed up my time lines.

Louie is Peters son - they buggered off when she was pregnant in 2015.
She reappeared with Steven in 2017 and then got with Josh saying that Peter was an alcoholic IIRC?
Apparently she never actually left with Josh but decided that she and Louie should head off to Glasgow on their own in 2018.

I completely forgot that Steven ever happened 🤦

Steven wickes ( Cindy and Wicky's son) is Baby Abi's dad.
Max's daughter Abi that died adored Steven and he loved her : baby was the most wanted child on EE! She had an affair with him behind Lauren's back. Steven died in the burger bar in a fire I think? Max was involved somehow.
We never see Abi now. Rainie was caring for her but she's given up.

Lauren was going to run off to Glasgow with Louis and Josh but she left him after Abi's funeral and went off on her own and josh (the nerdy one ) was never seen again.
It was an odd ending. I think Jacqueline Jossa was pregnant in real life and needed to leave?
Peter Beale is Louis dad. He was having trouble with alcohol or drugs in NZ (it was hinted at ) but he seems ok in Walford.
Usually it's the other way round!

So Nuchelle keeps in touch and miraculously sends enough funds over to Bex to finance her travelling but doesn't fly over to support her best mate Sharon in her grief? Not that I want to see her and her manky mac ever again, but it doesn't add up.
Adam Woodyatt acted brilliantly when he broke down over Denny.
The older actors are certainly showing their abilities right now: Jean, Shirley, Sharon, Ian, all brilliant. Perhaps this is why Chan and Gray look so poor in comparison.

There were rumours about Whitney and Gray when he first arrived as he kept looking at her and asking about her - I had seen a few spoilers regarding the 2 in recent weeks but I doubt that anything is actually going to come of it whilst she's inside atleast.

I think Bianca needs to get rid of come take Whitney away, there's not really much of a part left for her!

Neither work, but keeping quiet doesn’t make his situation worse whereas kicking off always does. He’s now been arrested for being aggressive to a woman who had done nothing wrong and was just trying to do her job.

It was very weird seeing gray tell Whitney that people understand more about abuse now, and how it’s not just black and white anymore. I wondered if in his head he was thinking “shit- Chantelle could try and kill me” or if he was thinking “I could kill Chantelle and claim self defence”.

I really don’t understand why Mitch and Karen were both in the hospital with Keegan after the police released him. He isn’t a small kid, they knew he was ok and the clinic was just a precaution, and who was looking after Bailey? Bernie I suppose although she doesn’t seem to be at school or work these days.

Lauren walked off into the sunset holding Louis’s hand. She left without a suitcase or even a nappy bag. Afterwards there were references made about her being in New Zealand with Peter. Ian also made references to seeing Louis when he went on holiday to New Zealand. As per usual EastEnders fashion, they all seemed to get working and resident visas without a problem. At some point in EastEnders, it would be good if somebody got deported. Of course they won’t ever do this because it would create more questions about the requirements for other characters who go abroad.

I agree Grey and Chantelle are not particularly good actors. They have a very gritty storyline and it’s content has hidden it to an extent but it is now increasingly obvious.

Yes they mentioned earlier in the cafe that it was too big. Karen took it off her finger and said it was too big and she’d lose it and tiff said they were going to get it resized. Creepy hoody man was sitting at the table behind them and turned to listen to them saying this. That’s how he knew he could take it off her finger so easily.
