That Callum storyline has been a bit ridiculous. They’re all shit at search and rescue. It wasn’t necessary in light of everything else

Did anyone else feel like there was too much going on in tonight’s episode? I felt like it kept flitting from very intense story to very intense story and I didn’t have time to process everything before having to pay attention to the next scene.

Callum lives! Phew. (Was touch and go for about a week there. )

For days now we've been seeing Callum hoarsely whispering "Help!". For days we've been seeing poor Ben unable to hear what people only feet away from him are saying. But, hey presto, when Ben is searching the warehouse Callum manages a shout that Ben can hear! Glad he got found, though.

I shall miss Daniel - he was one of the best characters we've had for years.

I don't like Kayden much myself but then again I hate my own name..
I liked Daniel : can't be come back from the dead? Their matching hats were sweet!

Daniel was one of the best characters they’ve had in ages. I’ll miss him. Particularly when they spend so much time on the criminal storylines which don’t interest me at all. And yes, Ben miraculously “hearing” Callum’s feeble calls when he’s supposedly lost his hearing profoundly and permanently was a bit of a piss take.

Still people keep leaving Sharon alone when she's obviously so vulnerable!!

With the Captain of the party boat he seemed remarkably relaxed about being attacked on the boat, you'd have thought someone would have radioed for the police etc whereas he seemed to just carry on with his half explanation to the passengers. He should have been being attended to and someone else make the announcement!!

I’ll really miss Daniel. He brought humour to EE and it was lovely seeing some slight flickers from previous characters Ade has played.

I’m glad he died where he did though, rather than in a bed or a care home or travelling off with special EE theme music.

I thought the Daniel and Jean storyline was so sweet, and he was a great character. Though for some reason I found it weird Are Edmondson being in EE......im old enough to rememb er him being Vyvian in the Young Ones and this was so different!

I thought Ben saw Callum’s medals on the floor near where he fell? Then he looked through the plastic sheeting that no-one else had bothered with. Or am I imagining that?

He did see the medal and look, yes, but he also heard Callum shouting. I can't remember in what order.
