Just caught up then realised the thread was full.

Sister Monica joan’s flowers.

Cried like a seal.

My garden didn’t bloom and for me the sunshine failed. My buds were perfect but not for here.

And the hairy bud who grew and blossomed in my care soaked up the love.

Missing the three of you more than you know. X

“Fatalities from mansplaining” Grin Grin

But why are the nuns and nurses complaining about how busy they are? Get them other nuns out of the chapel and onto a bike!

I'm not overthinking it at all folks. I thought they'd all disappeared when the first Nonnatus House blew up, but no they are still around - which explains why the nurses are all sharing rooms. But not why they need all the extra nurses when they have at least 6 other nuns hiding in the chapel.

Maybe they are non nursing nuns who are part of the convent (singing nuns?) but not trained for a vocation, just be nuns, I don't really know Grin. C of E nuns are more unusual than Catholic ones aren't they?

Looks like New Dr might be a drug addict.

Such a shame about the new doctor. He's lovely, with a lot of potential. Hoping he's not going to ruin it!

I had pethidine when i was in labour...wonderful stuff however i was seeing things on it and had the giggles after i had given birth! Couldn't imagine using it on the regular...suppose the new Dr is tolerant to the effects!

Well it didn't take long for the usurper to Dr Turner's crown to come a cropper.

What’s the deal with Beryl? What tablets was she taking?

Report
Saucery · 16/02/2020 20:56

Beryl might not want to bring up her sister’s baby after bringing her up when they were younger!

They were the contraceptive pill, weren’t they?

Report
ParsnipToast · 16/02/2020 20:57

I think Beryl was taking the contraceptive pill, her sister made a comment about not everyone wanting to take the pill.

Report
ParsnipToast · 16/02/2020 20:58

And she made that comment about the cause of her sister's blindness being hereditary, she's maybe too worried to risk getting pregnant.
