DD1 has been watching Boris on tv, whilst messaging her friends. See- this situation is getting teens interested in current affairs. For all the wrong reasons .

They are really annoyed that nothing has been said about shutting schools beyond continuing to monitor the situtation. .

Ooh I need to catch up on the Tennis Podcast - I got the impression that they usually slightly take the piss out of Dan Evans so should be interesting!

How do I access the tennis podcast? I've never listened to it before. Mind you, speaking is not one of Dan Evans' strong points

kazza I think I subscribed to it through iTunes if that’s available to you. It’s free but I’m not sure how you can get it without iTunes - maybe Spotify?

Leo was letting us know that this will go on longer than the end of March and that cases will increase in a couple of weeks which we knew anyway.

Well no surprise then from Leo, but I suppose he has to actually say it. I was reading that he said "not all heroes wear capes"?! Love it.

Apparently Guy Forget rang Rafa to tell him about RG moving before it was announced! Someone on twitter commented "of course, they had to tell the owner first"

And in the Guardian they had an article saying Rafa could skip the French because of his Laver Cup commitments seems unlikely to me.

I still can't really believe RG just went ahead and changed the date like that!!

I actually just saw some of the speech Jane. The superheroes thing was brilliant. It sounded v emotional. Hope you are doing ok with the schools closed.

DS brought some project work home yesterday in case they close, but is still going in today. Have ordered some board games just in case (partly for myself I must admit). I got Pictionary and it's now a wipe clean board instead of paper!! I can't get my head round these new-fangled ideas!

kazza re the podcast yes agree with Fizzy - iTunes or Spotify, or a podcast app should do it. It is a good listen, I think you'd enjoy it (especially the Dan Evans interview of course!!).

I see the USTA is not ruling out postponing the US Open until after the rearranged French. A very pointed comment about how they would consult with everyone first, rather than make a unilateral decision

I think the French will struggle in September, with only one covered court.

kazza I saw that US Open statement and I must say I agree with them!

I have been to see my mum this morning. We were watching the Judy Murray 'other son' Duncan thing- if you haven't seen it, it is one of the funniest things. 'You've all heard of Andy Murray, probably even know Jamie Murray- but nobody know me- Duncan Murray'.

'it's not like he isn't talented. We just haven't figured out what his talent is yet.'

Forget's of RG handling was a bit a shambles last year, wasn't it? With the ticket problems and the court changes. I'm surprised he still has a job . At least in September, they may indeed get to use the roof. Though Rafa may not be keen to do that.

I’m working from home but still feeling quite anxious - my manager is not helping

When I feel anxious I go out & walk round the block as fast as I can. Takes me about 10 mins & I inevitably feel better. I have to make myself do it, though.

I’ve just watched a few of the ATP underrated moments which cheered me up - I liked Rafa’s sassy finger . I thought that Delpo would be better at flossing - he was nearly as bad as Marin!
