I saw the Channel 4 trailer, I'm so excited! But I have also lost track of how things ended... will need to rewatch last season I think!

I'm definitely going to re-watch the last series this week.

I rewatched season seven a few weeks ago so I’m feeling pretty up to date. I keep seeing trailers on C4 which I hate so I’m always switching the channel so as to avoid any clues at all.

I haven’t watched since about the 5th series I think. I stopped when Carrie was in Amsterdam. I’m going in cold tonight coz it’s the last series. Am I going to be completely lost?

I was planning on watching the last episode of the last series this afternoon but work intervened. So going in without catching up or any reminders.

I have just informed all my family that everything needs to be cleared up and all jobs done by 8:55 this evening. There will henceforth be silence in the lounge and any murmuring of "Muuuummm...." will be totally ignored. In fact it might be better if they all had an early night.

I’ll try and fit in the last episode of the last series beforehand and see if that helps. I stopped coz I couldn’t follow the story so it probably won’t make any difference!!

Online reminder of season 7 final episode.

In the season 7 finale, President Keane (Elizabeth Marvel) stepped down to allow the US to move forward. A seven-month time jump at the end of the episode showed Saul Berenson (Mandy Patinkin) overseeing a prisoner exchange with Russia. It saw the US get Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes) back. It appeared that her time in captivity may have sent her mad and she didn’t appear to recognise Saul.

Can reassure all it's fine to go in blind, as Coco put it.
