The community centre was being used as a packing centre while the factory was being rebuilt so I’m assuming it’s back as a community centre now. Why couldn’t they have their book club there?

I think I'd like a book club in a pub. Maybe the community centre will host a midterm art camp for the kids.

I vaguely remember Geoff stopping Yasmeen attending the book club. Possibly under the pretence that shes an alcoholic.
It's entirely possible I imagined it though

Hoping that Yasmine will realise what Geoff is doing and pack his things.But the way Coronation Street is now she will almost certainly hit him with a frying pan and end up in prison before being found not guilty as it was self defence.

Porpentina, I remember a game of bridge or something similar, or maybe a quiz? where Geoff was angry with Yasmeen. He said she was flirting with (I think) Brian.

I'm sually mumsnetting at the same time as watching. Or before ex left he would be talking to me over the programme which he claimed to hate and then spent the entire episode asking me what was happening so I miss most stuff

@PorpentinaScamander I too am finding the story line between Geoff and Yasmin really upsetting. It's so very insidious. Literally soul destroying.

As is soap land, Yasmeen will probably be saved very soon. Whereas a lot of women suffer this abuse for a very long time 😕

Geoff seems to have stopped pretending to be nice, so perhaps Yasmeen will see the light soon.

He and Gary need to get their comeuppance soon.

Eggandonion maybe they can have some kind of faceoff and kill each other

I’ve just seen this and it made me giggle. (Corrie writers karma for writing a storyline involving quads!) But also a bit angry to see that the mothers aren’t allowed to comfort their babies when they cry! I wouldn’t agree to that if I was a parent.

It was a ridiculous idea to have quads; twins would have been far more realistic.
