Is it me or are some episodes directed a bit more arty than others?

All those weird shots with Geoffs performance, the split screen with Steve and Tracey, the window reflecting shot with Faye and Gary etc.

Hopefully that video will get seen by someone. It’s very uncomfortable to watch.

Yes it does seem like some episodes are more arty than others (some try really strange camera angles but fail). Other episodes look like bad slapstick. Do you think it’s different directors?

I find the scenes with Geoff really chilling
Mainly because he reminds me of an ex who slowly slowly started chipping away at my self confidence. Luckily I 'escaped' before it got too bad.

Women only are seen without make up in soapland if disaster has struck. Seeing as grief hadn't dislodged it, I am guessing it is to do with the flat. The harassing neighbours or dodgy landlord may have driven her out. Billy will probably find her next week.

Did anyone notice that Nina had a large bag with her? I hope she’s not been made homeless :( I seem to remember the landlord the other week chasing up unpaid rent

I thought the video going viral was interesting as everyone thought it was hilarious, Maybe Toyah will see it as she is a trained counsellor and will notice things others wouldn't.
On a baby name thread anyone suggesting Toyah as a name would be told it would't be good for a professional person. Yet there she is!

Toyah (after many weeks absent) was standing meekly at the bar of the Rovers last night looking like an extra next to Imran. She's still dressing like a Victoria school ma'am. What's that about ? I have to keep reminding myself that they are a couple. The don't act like they are.

The actors that play them just stood behind the bar like wooden ornaments and delivered their lines.

The filming of Yasmeen on his phone where he's shouting, is the one which could betray him. Maybe Tim or Aalyah will find it by mistake.

I couldn't understand the timeline last night. We saw brian & Kathy first in The Rovers at book club which was supposed to be evening (after work time anyway as, apart from Ken, they all have jobs). Then, in the next scene, Brian & Kathy were at the Bistro for Tianna's first birthday party, where lots of children were.

I thought the book club was strange as it’s never been mentioned before has it? It’ll probably never be mentioned again either!

Didn't Yasmine run a book club at the Conmunity Centre? Maybe Baggy Eyed Geoff put a stop to it.

Years and years ago there was a book club, when Ian McKellen had a guest role! He was one of the members.
