New series starts wed night 8pm

The Walton family and their sugar eating habits

As usual they will have their swaps and their fab brand of something won’t be swapped and they won’t like it

Always happens 😂😂😂

I would say it's like watching a child picking at their food but my kids are sat here in disbelief!

redchocolatebutton · 16/10/2019 20:32

I feel for her. food issues are not fun.

nancy75 · 16/10/2019 20:33

My dd is a fussy little madam & she can’t believe what a nightmare Rita is

Lunde · 16/10/2019 20:34

Rita is 59 and Peter is 58!

Dorsetcamping · 16/10/2019 20:34

Peas too big!!

lazymum99 · 16/10/2019 20:35

I think she said too hard not too big!!

ellenanora5 · 16/10/2019 20:39

I keep being interrupted, did they bake the peaches and crumble, looked quite nice.

Couldn't get over their shopping trolley.

They are nice people, I hope they turn it around

Lunde · 16/10/2019 20:42

I like that they are open to trying things - it sounds like they were in a total rut with their shopping and cooking

megletthesecond · 16/10/2019 20:43

Pete likes his rocket 👍.

Biker47 · 16/10/2019 20:44

I got low sugar and salt beans once, they were tasteless. I only really eat branston beans, but will eat aldi’s own at a push. Heinz are shite IMO.

Lunde · 16/10/2019 20:44

The peach crumble cooked really good!

Blondeshavemorefun · 16/10/2019 20:44

Low sugar salt beans are rank

I’ve always liked Heinz but don’t mind Aldi

Trying new things has given Rita a new cooking confidence!

WonkyDonk87 · 16/10/2019 20:52

I'm missing it because I'm upstairs with DD. Enjoying the live feed though Grin Will def have to watch it on catch up.

Lunde · 16/10/2019 20:57

Is it me or are they looking healthier already?

megletthesecond · 16/10/2019 20:57

Aaaw. I'd like another update in a year.

JustDanceAddict · 16/10/2019 20:59

They did well, hope he could come off his pills. I’m sure a healthier diet improves his arthritis too.

BooksAreMyOnlyFriends · 16/10/2019 20:59

Does anyone know what brand the chicken sausages are?

Blueemeraldagain · 16/10/2019 21:00

I’m a little behind. If Pete can’t chop is he going to be able to open 20 different cans?

ShakespearesSisters · 16/10/2019 21:01

They came from aldi, saw the logo when they turned it round to show the cost.

Wombleish · 16/10/2019 21:04

The sausages looked like Heck Chicken Italia, we've had them from Sainsbury's.

jay55 · 16/10/2019 21:08

The canned meal looked awful, I was so relieved they helped him make burgers instead.

I used to like sainsburys low sugar beans but then they changed them and now they're hard and sweet and disgusting.

Allhailthesun · 16/10/2019 21:37

I thought they said the meal from cans was £2.50 a portion. That’s pretty shit really. You could buy any processed meal and a lump of fresh broccoli for that.

They were a great couple though. I hope the changes work for them long term.

SometimesItRains · 16/10/2019 21:46

Watching on catch up - just almost ironed my own hand when I heard that by swapping drinks Pete could cut out 35 cubes of sugar a day - a day Shock What are these people thinking? How do they have any teeth left with all the sugar they consume Confused
