X FACTOR returns! And this time it's a CELEBRITY edition ***8.35 Sat***

So, after all those years of watching wannabes trying to become somebodies, Simon has decided the way to go is to basically take a bunch of celebs and see if they can sing.

I've a feeling we've seen something like this before.

Tonight's auditions are in Malibu, and the first bunch of celebs are

Journalist, Martin Bashir, Quiz show champion, Jenny Ryan (is she off the Chase? )and Model and Actress, Hayley Hasselhoff.

Glee Actor, Kevin McHale, The Islanders, made up of former Love Island contestants Samira Mighty, Zara McDermott, Wes Nelson and Eyal Booker; and Social Media Stars and CBBC Presenters Max and Harvey.

Another group act 'Try Star' - rugby stars Ben Foden, Thom Evans and Levi Davis - and Professional dancer, Brendan Cole and actor, Jeremy Edwards who form Cole and Edwards.

I am not sure I know who most of these people are. But I don't watch Love Island. Maybe it is stretching the 'Celebrity' label a bit

I'll still get sucked in to watching , probably.

Glee was ok, if you like musical theatre type stuff. It was quite cheesy.

Kevin played Artie, a bloke in a wheelchair. He was ok.

Will this be his Darius moment.

I mean singing wise, not you know, kilts and willies.

When Camila sings it, it so squeaky, you can't make out a word.

Is Glee a bit like ' high school musical ?'
I saw five minutes of one of those films once. That was enough for me.

He’s better than the last lot, but terminally boring

Why is he singing so badly? I actually ended up liking Glee . It is funny! But I have heard him sing so much better than that as Artie!

80s yes, really. Bursting into song 'spontaneously' in the school canteen type moments.

He can do better than he did there, but I suspect there was a lot of 'production' on the show, although most of the cast were decent singers.

nancy Fame was ace! I SO wanted to go to that school. The total absence of performing talent would not have held me back.

I was expecting so much more from him.

Fame was brilliant. I loved it.

Some of the issues on Fame (even though I was very young at the time ) were quite hard hitting. Glee was quite tame really.

Most of the drama happened off set.
