Anyone watching?

We had episode 4 of S1 on Friday July 8th but they seemed to be suggesting that S2 starts on July 22nd. Did I mishear? There are 8 episodes in S1. Can anyone work out how ITV are organising it, please?

S2 will be premiered on 22 July, the remaining episodes of S1 - 6,7 and 8, will be available on ITV Hub. ITV doesn't like Sanditon! 😒

S2 is brilliant, much improved from S1.

The Internet trailer for S1 was dire. I haven't seen one yet for S2 but I hope it's better. If there is one, since they really do seem reluctant to promote it.

Honestly, aren't ITV -s**s about it? Oooooooh. For crying out loud, why couldn't they finish S1 and then follow with S2. Yes, I've now seen both series, but it's not much to ask to see them again on terrestrial telly.

Saw some S1 repeats, will need to boxset it as a reminder, but looking forward to S2.

But no, tonight's episode 5 will be the last one on ITV, so you have to watch the rest of S1 on Hub or Britbox, because they are going to start S2 on 22nd July.

Am I right on this? If someone has an ordinary TV, as in not a smart TV, nor a computer of any sort, and there are some people who will come into that category, they can have watched Sanditon S1 up to Ep 5 on TV and then don't have any access to Hub or Britbox to see Eps 6,7,8? I know they would be in a minority but it seems so illogical for ITV to do it like that.

SO many ads! It's bad enough but they also cut a scene after the interview just to ram another one in.

So glad I watched it ad free first.

Exactly - only a little scene with the dog following her, but I noticed that it was left out. It wasn't vital to the story, I know.........but, screeeeeam!

I inadvertently saw a tiny spoiler about Esther. Not what happens but how things turn out for her. That's the problem with watching second hand!
