It's sad that it seems to be a given that signing up to these shows leaves you open to abuse and therefore that's just what you get.
Yes it is sad. However this generation of social media / trolling is not going to change overnight. I don't know what the answer is and agree people shouldn't have to worry about or put up with the abuse but it's pretty much a given, at this moment in society, that it's going to happen on these kind of programmes. It shouldn't, but the reality is it will. So a contestant shouldn't be surprised if and when it happens when we are on the 5th series of it.
