Yes. And I think their coaching, is part of the reason they are all judging Danny. They put effort in. Or maybe feel a bit guilty they pushed her and it's back fired. So goo g on the defensive.

Though Yewande lied as well. Talking to Arabella she claimed her friends had nothing to do with her and how she acted with Danny. That's blatantly not true.

Just seen first look, looks like Danny is getting a bit of a raw deal, no one was this bad to Tommy when he did the same thing with Maura and Molly! Apparently Yewande wants to walk.

I do think Tommy was lore upfront with molly though.

The 2 situations are similar and both MM and Yewande had some of their own responsibility in it.

I don't think they should air Yewande talking about leaving esp if she decides to stay.

no one was this bad to Tommy when he did the same thing with Maura and Molly!

Tommy was direct with MM. He told her that it's weird that she's suddenly realised her feelings now that there's another girl interested and that he appreciated Maura's directness and was open to getting to know her a bit more. He told everyone (including MM) that he was 50/50 and didn't know who he'd pick.

Danny didn't have the balls to do any of that and instead chose to lead Yewande on while laughing at her with Arabella behind her back. I think this is why people are annoyed at him. They all believed Danny's crap about how he really really likes Yewande but just wants her to open up and be affectionate and they pushed her to do so. The fact that he was so comfortable slagging her off with Arabella suggests that he barely likes her as a person let alone in a romantically so I can see why they're annoyed.

It’s naive to think that a screening process exists that would resolve this. Even full psychiatric assessments fail to flag major issues. Psychiatrists call things wrong all the time.

You keeping bandying about the word naive for some reason. First stop in the screening process should be identifying if potential candidates have existing MH issues. I have no idea how much psychiatrists get wrong. Nothing in this world is perfect. My friend is a consultant psych but psychiatry is never something we get deep and meaningful about.

Either way I gave up watching this weekend. Today’s shenanigans confirm it was the right choice.
