Spot on. AND they are both too self absorbed to realise they said that in front of the cameras. Another poster said Curtis has a timeframe for ‘progressing’ the relationship to increase the viewer’s belief that it’s a genuine relationship. He totally has a game plan.

I thought the same-that Amy was trying to cheat by scratching Curtis neck during the task..

Yeah she said

'I scratched your neck to let you know.................cause I always do that'

My impression was the gap in her speech was her realising she was admitting to cheating so added the bit about always doing that.

Either they tried to cheat to look oh so compatible. Or she is that insecure she couldnt stand him giving someone a higher score so tried to indicate.

He thought it was her because they knocked teeth. He admitted later it was a 10 and only gave it because he thought it was her. Again, he wanted to look like they were compatible or he knows she is that insecure anything less than a 10 would upset her.

He just got it wrong.

She isnt coming across very well. I totally understand the producers wanting the 'kind of a celeb' (curtis) to win. Like Dani last year. But the producers must be able to see they arent as popular as a couple.

Looking forward to unseen bits tonight. Always makes them look a bit more normal with each other and less forced

I find it interesting that Curtis got it wrong when Amy actually went before Arabella. I could part understand it if Arabella was first and perhaps had a similar style. But Amy went before Arabella and he only scored her a 7, he didn't recognise her at all! Even after Arabella he gave other girls scores of 8. I paused on the scoreboard to check Plus was it Danny who said he knew it was Arabella because of the height? There's something about Curtis I'm not sure of. Not sure I trust him. I do find him funny though. Not as funny as Anton.

I think Curtis just made a genuine mistake, he probably didn't take into account Arabella's height/angle maybe he was focusing on the feel of the kiss. Such a drama about nothing, Amy would be a very high maintenance girlfriend.

That said I do know a married couple who act similar to Curtis/Amy and they're very much in love and happily married. As long as Curtis picks his battles wisely and constantly reassures her.

But I think Amber is right that if you have ear phones and blind folds you're going to be sufficiently disoriented to not really know.

I don’t really have a problem with Amy. She has the odd strop but doesn’t dwell. Quite normal really.
