Curtis and Amy will win? How do you figure that? 😂 unless Any becomes more popular with voters that's highly unlikely.

MoominMantra · 22/06/2019 17:25

These are the current statistics wrt popularity of contestants

Yewande wasn't aggressive!

You mean 'Yewande wasn't aggressive, in your opinion'. Surely?

Chipstick10 · 22/06/2019 17:27

I can’t stand Amber. I really don’t get why she is so popular.

carmenbea · 22/06/2019 17:28

@MoominMantra ooo where do you see the popularity thing? Is it on the app?

SlipperOrchid · 22/06/2019 17:37

Maura and Anton are the only really genuine people in that villa.

I agree. Last year Laura was by far the most genuine. Sadly she didn’t win though.

MoominMantra · 22/06/2019 17:39

Yeah @carmenbea it's in the app.

EveryFlightBeginsWithAFall · 22/06/2019 17:39

I think Yewandes anger was as tack as her sudden feelings for Danny personally

I don’t know about Arabella being patronising but Yewande came across as rude, not letting her get a word in.

I don’t think Yewande really knew how to react to the whole situation and ended up over reacting

EveryFlightBeginsWithAFall · 22/06/2019 17:39

Fake not tack

MoominMantra · 22/06/2019 17:42

Surely it's aggressive to sit down hard on someone's stomach when they're chatting to someone else? It's not just about the conversation with Arabella.

EveryFlightBeginsWithAFall · 22/06/2019 17:46

It did seem a bit territory marking but I’m not sure it was done out of aggression

I just think she has no idea how she should act in a situation where she’s supposed to fancy someone and all the advice from the others isn’t helping

MoominMantra · 22/06/2019 17:57

Yes, quite possibly.

Sagradafamiliar · 22/06/2019 17:58

It would seem it suits some people if Yewande were aggressive. She. Wasn't. She was venting after the encounter, was she supposed to start doing that to Arabella's face? Is she not allowed to have been frustrated beyond belief at having been goaded? :/

MoominMantra · 22/06/2019 18:03

If someone says they're about to lose it, and they look and sound as angry as Yewande did, does that not mean that they themselves feel that they are possibly going to lose control of their actions?

SgtFredColon · 22/06/2019 18:04

nickymanchester what about Kaz last year, wasn’t her mam from Thailand?

Sagradafamiliar · 22/06/2019 18:06

Are you really serious, moom?

MoominMantra · 22/06/2019 18:16

Time will tell...

The way I see it is some of her actions in the past few days have made her look very bad and a bit unhinged.

But there is the possibility that she's quite complex, socially awkward and is therefore misunderstood.

INoahGuy · 22/06/2019 18:30

up until the end of last year there had been 97 people on LI of whom 17 were not white.

@nickymanchester

Are Niall Aslam and Stephanie Lam from last year included in that 17?

wherethefucksyourmanners · 22/06/2019 18:43

God I've just found this thread and now have people other than my 13 year old son to chat to about it ( mum are tommy and mm doing the "thing" under the covers? ) 🤦🏻‍♀️😂😂

Gummybear11 · 22/06/2019 18:44

@MoominMantra I don't think she came across as aggressive in the sense she's threatening to boil over into violence. I think she's aggressive in the sense that she is rude and belligerent and I did think her sitting on Danny the way she did was aggressive in the sense it was quite forceful, abrupt, territory marking (and bizarre).

Proteinshakesandtears · 22/06/2019 18:53

It will be interesting to see if 'unseen bits' shows a different side to the people who have been the main focus this week. And if it changes any minds.

I have researched last nights. I am in the fence with Arabella. I cant work out wether Arabella was right to tell Yewande what Danny had said. Or was being a bitch. Though before, I admit, I thought she was right to tell her

I am on the fence because I think its shit Danny was telling Arabella these things and not, as far as we can see, been upfront with Yewande.

So part of me things Yewande had a right to know. But part of me thinks Arabella intentions were underhand. I, 100%, think it should have been Danny that told her. But can also see that Arabella has thought 'well I am not going to hide it from her'. And its putting me off Danny a bit.

I still dont like Amy though and think she massively over reacted last nightm the boys were laughing at Curtis, not her. They were laughing at Curtis cause they knew he had given a 10 and the presumption it was Amy and tried to use the game to win brownie points with her and show everyone how compatible they both were. And it backfired.

I also think she tried to cheat. She said to him 'I scratched your neck so you would know it was me'. I think they both thiugh if he gave her top Mark's then everyone would be thinking they were such an amazing couple.

The boys were laughing at curtis. And both of them tried to manipulate the result and it back fired.

Gummybear11 · 22/06/2019 19:09

Speaking of #snoggate ... Did anyone else get the creeps when Amy said to Curtis "I always scratch your neck like this" and scraped her fingers up and down his neck?

I'm such a horrid cow but she reminds me of an OAP in so many ways, just gives me the heebie jeebies when she's being 'seductive'. Confused
