Nah Gill and Ted aren’t in cahoots, that recording where she grooms John Corbett into believing Ted killed his mother, and Ted’s reaction to it proves they’re not working together IMO.

The flatness has nothing to do with the director. She can only work with the script she is given.

Ted is way better than Carmichael at conducting interviews. Maybe that why we all feel a bit confused, she did drone on a bit between smirks

I burst out laughing at first when Kate just started saying, “Tap tap. Tap. Tap.” Great work, team.

Once Kate and Steve arrived everything kicked up a gear. AMM’s performance reminded me of Hermione Norris’s performance in Luther. That smugness and superciliousness combined with a quiet voice. Wanted to her to get knocked off that high horse she was riding.

I felt actually sick when I saw Ryan in his police uniform.

The whole force seems bent. Anyone who knows what has really gone on in Operation Peartree and is looking away from the Poluce saying “nothing to see here” is corrupt.

I’m intrigued/worried about what was on Ted’s laptop, we saw he’d been on message boards and he was friends with Fairbanks

I was dismayed Ted kept the £50k, I guess he gave it to Mrs Corbett because John will have been deemed not to have died in the Line of Duty, although given how he’d been manipulated by Gill, he should never have been a UCO in the first place.

I’m not happy about the morse code thing, I swear they’ve re-filmed it twice now. In this version Kate goes as far as starting the alphabet again for the second letter H’s name. Dot doesn’t blink at ‘A’ so it can’t be Hastings. In the earlier version if the Dying Declaration we’ve seen, the paramedic intervenes before Kate gets to a second letter.

Having said all of the above, I did enjoy the episode a lot, and considering how much needed tying up I think Jed did a great job and Adrian Dumbar’s Acting was superb.

WTH. We all expected answers, especially who is H. It was just a weird extra long interview (which I normally love), that made Ted look like a tit with the crying thing.
Still left so many questions unanswered and too many "crucial" things just washed over.
I mean, the whole definately thing. That was just glossed over completely, but it has to be a major issue. Coincidence, really?

Did anyone catch Ted’s comment about Gill liking the finer things in life? I want it on my AC-12 mug!

Ted definitely was messaging them prior to any other police involvement. Or atleast, he could see everything that was being said on the IM screeen. UNLESS, was that the night Gill was in his room? Did he look at the laptop while she was in the bathroom? Was it in fact her laptop that he got rid of in an attempt to protect her before he knew that she had set him up?

I hope there isn’t a cloud over Ted in season 6. I want to see team AC-12 working together again properly.

After all, when better for Gill to message them when in the same location at Ted if traced?

That;s not a good idea. I should know I watched House of Cards.
You can't sustain the same level of continuity unless you stick to same director. It just doesn't gel.

Best to just play dumb & give the bare minimum so as not to jeopardise any plea deal. She doesn’t want to have any links to Corbetts death.

I think Lisa didn’t let on about Ryan so they won’t kill her! After all, info on everyone else doesn’t really matter as they’re dead.
