It’s only Lise McQueen’s word that the leak came from inside the prison. She could have found out Ted visited Lee Banks and decided to set him up that way.

I also think that patricia carmichael is too horrible a character to be the new boss - you would always be willing something to happen her (although excellently portrayed by Anna MM).

I'm with TracyBeaker about getting t - shirts printed.
I will never be able to trust the police again if Ryan is recruited and frankly will need therapy if Ted is banged up at the end of this series.

I think Corbett was out to get revenge on Hastings for something about the past and his parents. I think he was working with/ being worked by others in the police (obviously including Moffat) to frame Ted.

Although I still don't understand the "our Marie/Anne Marie" "you know I can't discuss my job" line. That doesn't imply his mother, that implies some current/recent investigation to me.

I just don't buy Ted going off solo to pretend to be H. He seemed to be acting completely (even definAtely) out of character.

Is the next series going to be the last one?

So about exposing H, getting Ted off the hook, but showing Ryan joining the police?

Or do we think that Ted will be vindicated on Sun?

About Ryan....

In series 1 they questioned him and asked him to help so they could help him surrounded by social workers appropriate adults etc. He wasn't charged or anything so there will be no criminal record. He was about 12 so if he seemingly kept his nose clean from then how would the police know what he does in his spare time, hanging out with OCG and slitting throats as his hobby. Doubt he put it on his college application.

People can move on from their childhood past mistakes in fact I can believe a childhood like that could spur some on to want to do something to atone or help others. I did think that maybe that was what had happened with Ryan until the end of episode 1!!

I don't remember if any of AC12 have actually seen him or identified him this series.

The whole programme is about police corruption. The things we've seen them do and turn a blind eye to, the idea of someone getting recruited and their past being ignored to get an OCG inside man is very plausible. I think we'll see him shake the hand of H at his passing out. He's the new caddy.

Maybe Steve will see him in uniform and take a second look - do I know you???

I still think Lise is Ted’s informant. When she said in her interview ‘I suppose your Gaffer is watching?’ she was hoping they’d say yes so she could come clean and speak to him directly. But if Ted is in custody, she won’t be safe to say anything???

Ryan was the wee oick in season 1 who went about on his bike chucking burner phones at bent coppers shouting ' yah bent bastard'

This GBH thing is nonsense. I don't think it's been established how or why the ocg refer to the big boss as 'H', but for AC12 it came from Dot specifically being asked the name of the senior bent cop he was working for and he got as far as indicating the letter 'H' then died.

I am now wondering if the whole H thing is a massive red herring. It was all very tenuous really. Based on a dying man blinking. Nah.

@MalevolantPrawn Kate’s middle name is Laura, at least according to the file Lindsay Denton had on her in series 2. Steve’s is David. (And I need to get out more!)

I think the T is that she got home a LOT later than just coming in after work (Steve managed to fit in a date and a failed sexy sesh with Sam in that time).

So where was she, and what was she up to hmmm????

Ryan just appears to be linked to the OCG somehow but doesn't have a massive role. He is always told to stay by the car rather than get involved suggesting he is being kept out of things to make sure he is never seen or arrested. Keeping his nose clean so he can get into the police is my guess.

The only way the OCG know about H is through the police themselves (otherwise they’d know his name or they’d know him as someone else) so it really is a weak assertion and every bit as likely to be a game of Chinese whispers.
