I only just caught up with the second episode of the new season and had been avoiding the last thread for a bit so as not to see spoilers and it is now full!

I think that that Lisa McQueen is working for Kate as she requested undercover last series to investigate someone senior.

They knew he was a rat so killed him, no need for Ted involvement.

Corb was still unsure who H was so that rules out him targeting Ted’s wife to send a message.

I think the whole Belfast background is a red herring. There’ll be a tenuous connection with Ted and the family, then there’ll be Ted’s refurb of the laptop and sudden wealth which will all add up to = bent copper.

But! Ted will have figured out he’s being set up long ago and will come to the rescue with the truth revealing the true bent copper.

Yeah, Lisa had noted a few times she thought something was wrong. Plus, if Ted wanted corb dead he would have been the first time he made contact with Steve.

That was some episode, I too think Lisse is undercover and in contact with Hastings. He knew he was spelling definitely wrong........ I hope so anyway. I must have make some shock, horror noises when Corbett got his neck sliced as my DDs in the next room were like, mum what is going on!!

Remember in series 1, Ted telling Steve about being a young copper in the RUC and him and a colleague being sent into a pipe bomb (?) trap because they were catholic? His colleague died and he was seriously injured. Could that be part of the NI connection and the beginnings of him becoming anti-Police??
