Hoping it's as good as we all want it to be. Should be live on iPlayer tomorrow about 9.30am

Another 'priest looking happy' image. really hoping it doesn't all go to crap.

Right, so my best case scenario is that he makes a big speech about how sex with Fb has brought him closer to God and how he realises the depth of His love through the love they share. Or something. Grin with lots of swearing and graphic sex descriptions thrown in for good measure. I'm not sure whether Godmother would be furious or secretly impressed by that Gin

ShowOfHands · 08/04/2019 07:51

I slept really badly. It's Christmas!

MaGratgarlik1983 · 08/04/2019 07:58

I woke up at 3.30 am and couldn't sleep either! Argh!!

RuffleCrow · 08/04/2019 08:02

I woke up at 2, then again at 5

We should make April 8th Fleamas and all get together and drink Gin from now on

ShowOfHands · 08/04/2019 08:06

I'm teetotal so it'll have to be me keeping a clear head.

I have never been so invested in a television programme. I usually only feel this way about books. Avoiding sleep, pondering the characters while at work, feeling bereft that it's going to end...

HotPriest · 08/04/2019 08:09

If that iPlayer tweet is to be believed it's less than an hour to go. Time to go and put on my wedding frock.

I'm here virtual tin of g&t poised. They better bloody not make us wait til this evening.

Two family face offs! Coo. I reckon Clare and her husband and fleabags dad/godmother.

Connieston · 08/04/2019 08:11

"show stopping performance"... Hmm does this mean he stops the show?

HunnyCaramel · 08/04/2019 08:17

When will it hit amazon tho?

PyjamasBySeven · 08/04/2019 09:11

Aaaargh! It's there!!!!!!

BlessedBeTheFruitCake · 08/04/2019 09:19

Yay. I've just had to update my iPlayer!

Sisterself · 08/04/2019 09:28

I shall be sneaking off to sit in my car on my lunch break. Arrgghh.

maxinespalour · 08/04/2019 09:41

I'm watching it now!!!!

Connieston · 08/04/2019 09:42

Finished it (am I the first?)

I'm a bit sad tbh. I wanted them to be together 😔

It was poetic though.

IntentsandPorpoises · 08/04/2019 09:43

I've watched it. It is a beautiful end. But still 😭😭😭

IntentsandPorpoises · 08/04/2019 09:44

I loved "the only person I'd run through an airport for is you"

I wanted them to be together too, but I think this was more realistic.

Goatrider · 08/04/2019 09:46

I didn't want them to be together! I thought it was a nice, understated ending. Loved that she ended up with the statue/her mum.

Given a lot of the outlandish predictions on here, I think some people may be a bit disappointed.

Tortadellanonna · 08/04/2019 09:47

Fuck. I wonder if that priest is actually a serial shagger who always uses God as an excuse to not have a relationship after

IntentsandPorpoises · 08/04/2019 09:49

I don't think he is. I think he does really love her and this has been a difficult decision for him.

Florence08 · 08/04/2019 09:50

Wow! What an exquisite bit of telly ❤️

Connieston · 08/04/2019 09:53

Ok first up, seeing his back in bed. Rrrr. Gorgeous.

When she said "it's God isnt it?" at the end I thought she meant their love for each other was god's will. Thank Christ he said he loved her back. If he hadn't that would have been awful.

I loved that the statue is hers again and will be a constant source of irritation for the godmother.

Martins rant was really great. He's a flawed human, not a monster.

Where's Clare as the name of the bassoon solo was hilarious.

I liked dad telling FB she's not everyones cup of tea either. He loves FB but he's a different kind of person so it makes sense he's with someone unlike FB.

ThanksItHasPockets · 08/04/2019 09:56

I am in pieces. That was wonderful.
