I thought I was done hearing Tyler’s mums grating voice on my tv but she’s just popped up on a Lidl ad!

I agree ellenanora . So Sarah is his family and not the invisible Jakie (?) and Izzy. Izzy took it all in as if he was a randomer with a piece of vague gossip, not the father of her child.

I never thought I'd say it, but poor Simon. I really felt for him in that episode. God Peter has annoyed me for nearly a month now!

Why was Mary being a arse with Jan?
Surely she would be ok if it was a accident and he did show concern and tried to help her but she was very rude. Not her usual jolly character

That scene with Simon and Peter at the end was one of the very few examples of good acting in Corrie - a powerful, moving scene for once.

Moira really annoyed me in that episode. She can be very good sometimes but other times gets it all wrong and it’s irritating.

All faults aside, I think Peter’s drunk acting is spot on; just the way his face changed and the look in his eyes.

He started doing it post stroke, but it’s been so long he’s either so proud of his stroke voice he’s dragging it out, or he actually talks like that now!

Ken's played by William Roach. He's been in the news a couple times for being massively in debt. He's also had to fight off sexual assault accusations.
I don't think he can't afford to leave Corrie at this point. Was rumoured a couple years ago that he got £200,000 a year, you'd think on that you'd have no money issues.

I didn't know about the sexual allegations but didn't he try and sue a newspaper for their claims he was 'boring' but he lost and it bankrupted him?

According to Google, he sued the Sun and lost in 1999 and went bankrupt with debts of £600k

Sexual assault allegations were 2017 and I bet they cost him a good chunk in legal fees etc.

He'll be in Corrie till he physically can't be anymore. I bet they keep his schedule as light as possible tho.

Peter was great on Friday, a far cry from all
his weird whispery pep talks and following CarlaLuv around all the time! Simon was brilliant as well - very clever scene
