I thought I was done hearing Tyler’s mums grating voice on my tv but she’s just popped up on a Lidl ad!

I'm fed up with Coronation Street moving around on Fridays. Sometimes it's a double episode and sometimes there's a half hour gap. Yet again today I've switched the TV back on again at 8.30 to find it's finished and I have to keep checking until it's available on the Hub.

I agree. It's different every week. I only found out tonight because I went out of the room and it was still on when I came back in. I thought it was coming back at 8.30 too!

I’m sad to see Norris go, he has always made me chuckle.

Maureen Lipman has some good bits tonight, it reminded me of Blanche.

The quads story is already getting ridiculous.

Yes it is sad to see Norris go, he did provide some good humour now and again.

I have a feeling that somethings going to happen/go wrong with the quads.

The horse in the garden thing is annoying me, It would have eaten everything and turned it into a mud pit by now. Someone would've reported her by now.

Yes ridiculous horse storyline. Plus you couldn't even get an old nag for £1000!

And stabling, even diy, is extortionate

Mary singing was excruciatingly unfunny. Wish she could disappear for good, can't stand her now.

Yes, marys singing was dreadful but I do love her one-liners - "Norris, I see you're fingering your medal!"

But she delivers her one liners in that silly high voice that just isn't funny any more. She's a very poor actress. Or maybe it's the dreadful scripts.

Anyone know how is moving into Norris’ house they’ll have to really redecorate won’t they? Thought it might have been Steve and Tracey they were looking for a house recently. A new family would be good.

I don’t understand why there was a party for Norris leaving? He went for ages, came back for a few episodes then had a party to leave again? I was disappointed with last nights episode

They’ve totally ruined Mary. She used to be a great character. She’s awful now.

Agree, Mary on form is great and can do great comedy moments. I can only assume bad script writing is to blame for her character now. She can be hit/miss but has been embarrassing lately.

I think the party for Norris was more because the actor is leaving now, so a proper leaving script as he's been in ill health although I'm happy to be corrected.

You know how Norris has sold the house now, are we taking bets in when new people appear?
In the real world house sales can take a while, so I'm guessing Monday we'll have a new character.

Is Norris gone for good tho? The actor had a heart attack didn't he?

Would you want to move into that street though? Chances are you will never have a happy marriage, you of your partner having an affair for sure. Very high chance one of your family members will be murdered by a serial killer too. Or meet a grisly end I. A freak accident.

I think the real question here is any body going to start another thread? I haven't watched Corrie for months but I've loved catching up on this thread.

I thought Norris reminiscing in the taxi was lovely. A nice fitting exit for him
