Hasn't that happened recently already where someone was looking for someone and someone said they'd seen them but wanted cash? I feel like it involved Abby or Sally's sister..

I thought washing machine woman looked familiar too, then I clicked... She reminded me of Tina MacInntyre when she first got together with David as a teenager.

Why did that Aleena girl leg it when she saw Yan? Is he bringing girls over illegally?
If that's the case, isn't it a bit close to the Bethany storyline a couple years ago?

Definitely looks like a trafficking storyline to me. Hope not, there have been so many dramas this year on same thing.

Alina told Seb she had to be home before her landlady locked up the house and then went on to say she thought of her LL as a mother type figure. I wondered if LL is actually a brothel madam type.

The whole Gemma Chesney thing is rubbish. They have gone from absolutely best friends and loving each other to hating one another, overnight. I have no idea why they wrote it like this, unless they are going to hook Ches back up with Emma and Gemma is left pregnant on her own? It would have been a much more enjoyable storyline with a happy ever after for them.

My guess is that Gemma will have a termination (if she’s smart) but then Paul will accidentally let slip to chesney about it and ches will go mad with Gemma.

Poor Jawsif, like Simon before him he has been plucked from a pretty well off. idyllic life with the grandparents (never seen again) to the misery and revolving door partners of their parent.

I was thinking about Joe and the loan and all that misery, and it just struck me that Gary and his family were at the heart of most of the problems. Iirc (I may not) Joe's problems started when the Windas's refused to pay for their kitchen. Can't remember all the details but Joe needed money and Gary's uncle put him in touch with the dastardly Rick. Gary was also the cause of Owen losing his business I think, or at least messed things up for him financially when he attacked Phelan and then Phelan blackmailed them into working for free. I also don't understand why Gary borrowed all that money, he already spent their rent money on Christmas presents for Zack, surely he couldn't have spent another 10 grand on the child.

Wasn’t there some sort of human trafficking story a few years back involving a couple who were an important client of the factory- Eva and Aiden rumbled them whilst visiting their big house where they were keeping people captive but then lost their business leaving the factory in trouble?
Also has Rick been in it before? He seems familiar and I’m sure Rita or someone alluded to it.

Yeah I knew Rick was familiar. He was Joe’s loan shark and also Tommy and Tina had a run in with him (possibly something to do with Terry?).

Yes Deadringer, I knew I wasn't imagining it, it was the Windasses who brought Joe to his knees, I posted that the other day, and you are right about it being Gary who brought down Owens business, Owen went along with it for Anna, and Anna slept with Phelan because he said he'd stop the vendetta against Owen and Gary, see how well that worked out for them (idiots the lot of them)

And Gary is still causing all sorts of trouble for the people he "loves"

Christ he gets right on my nerves, he's saying to Sarah "I was doing it for my family" well which family is he harping on about, because he's saying it in front of Izzy who used to be his family, and what about the other child he has.......aaaarrrrgggghh he annoys me just as much as that bloody Debbie in Emmerdale does

I remember that. As I recall one of the trafficked girls was hiding in the factory, was it fizz that found her? Then it all came out and the factory lost client and etc etc etc.
