I thought I was done hearing Tyler’s mums grating voice on my tv but she’s just popped up on a Lidl ad!

Kirk was great, all the rest was like a very bad sitcom.

They had to resort to cake throwing....never a good idea in a tv show.

Kirk was the only good bit.
I assume Eileen is going to have a relationship with Jan, I don't trust him at all.

Whats with the woman in the nail shop? Please no more traffiking storylines.

As soon as she appeared, looking nervous, I guessed that storyline was coming up. Hope I'm wrong.

I thought she was looking nervous because she'd pocketed Seb's wallet.

That's what I was thinking Each, there will definitely something dodgy going on.

Who pocketed Sebs wallet, I missed that bit.

The whole christening/naming ceremony was bloody awful to watch.

I bet Sarah is back with Gary by Friday, she's another fool for putting up with his crap for so long, and does anyone know why he borrowed all that money, he kept saying it was for them, but to do what, they've been living at Davids for months.

I thought Gary borrowed the money to buy presents for his child with Nicolas.

Seb's wallet was on the floor, but I don't think we saw anyone pick it up. Maybe it's a storyline excuse for her to see him again.

Sarah needs to get herself on MN relationships board. That would set her straight.

But he borrowed thousands, and it's not as though Nicola was penniless.
I also find it really annoying that Sarah seems to have forgotten how to speak in sentences.
She goes " Erm, . . yeah . . well . . so"

The christening bit was terrible, it made me like Sinead just because all her relatives are horrible. I'm sorry, but misspelling a cake is not acceptable, its not being snobby (although Ken and Claudia were equally awful). I really hate when they get characters obsessing over religion and doing everything in churches when they never go to church. I'm not religious at all but it doesn't seem right to use your faith as an excuse to use a church for weddings etc.

How did Jason not notice his business being destroyed? Wouldn't he have noticed the profits disappearing? Does he still own the business?

When Sarah was chucking Gary out she said something about that loan shark guy being responsible for Joe's death. Who was Joe? Surely not Joe MacInntyre? that was too long ago and the shark would have been a teenager.

very pleased to see that Eileen has finally remembered that the builder's yard is actually her son's business!

Gary was meant to be managing the yard for Jason (after Phelan's demise) but in Corrieland it now seems it's his business and that he owned everything there, including the kettle etc...

Why is Eileen hard up ? She has the balance of the Phelan stash, a house she must surely have paid the mortgage off by now, a job on the "switch", income from the yard and the flat (although this might be passed onto Jason) and years of rent from Sean and other lodgers. What does she do with it all?

It's so pants atm I actually miss Phelan! Only watch snatches when my grown up kids have it on at breakfast.

Oh yes I'd forgotten he borrowed money for the baby, I'd actually forgotten all about that little fella, so is it interest on the loan then that he owes so much.

How was Rita involved with the loan shark all those years ago if it was to do with Joe, and I always thought it was Gary and his father and uncle who ruined Joes business/life.

I'm beginning to worry about myself wondering so much about these stupid storylines

I don’t think I’ve posted on this thread yet. I’ve not been watching so much as it’s just so bad. I did watch Mondays episode.

Like others I guess that the girl in the salon and Jan are to be part of a trafficking storyline, another horrible partner for Eileen 🙄 it’s a pity because I quite like Jan from what we have seen so far!
Seb dropped his wallet but was then paid as he left the salon, surely at that point he would have put his money away and realised he had dropped his wallet?

I used to really like Gemma but now I can’t stand her. When her twin came into it, they hated each other and she was scared of him, she hadn’t even mentioned him but now they’re besties?

Chesney is just miserable, he was such a sweet little boy and teen but seems to be so joyless now.

Is there ever an event where cake isn’t thrown? Kirks our soul song did make me laugh!

It was only about 9 years ago and yes it was the same loan shark. He kidnapped Rita too - cant remember why though.

Was the woman who asked Seb to fix the washing machine the same one that was in Nick's salon the other week, she sabotaged their leaflets or something?

Also, I don't know why I care but it's bugging me, did Nicola come back with Gary's baby? Or did she then leave again.
