Me too, I don’t care about Carla, Gary or Sarah, and Nick leaves me cold

Just catching up with omnibus. I wish they'd kill off Gary. Horrible character and nothing to like. I feel sorry for Sarah. She's ending up like her mum the horrors she's ends up with.

I agree, last night was better than what we’ve been seeing recently. I wonder what the change was? Different writer?

I think they are/should use those three to hi-light men’s heart health issues. The 3 of them should make a big deal out of getting assessed for risk and getting healthy but competing against each other. I think that’s maybe where they’re going with it. I hope so.

Why does Peter keep doing that creepy whispering thing when he's talking to Carla? He's been doing it for the past few weeks and it's really unsettling! 🤮

I think Peter may not have Carla's best interests at heart. He is somewhat controlling her. Hope I'm wrong as she really needs someone on her side!

i thought last nights was crap.
nick asking the factory workers to turn the music down then cutting adeal that they can have the music on later after he as made his phone calls.
in real life , boss would walk in turn the music off tell them to get on with the work and walk out.
i'm bored already with the carla story line.
emma should be given more air time, and gary should get less

Poor Emma, she's so sweet and so upbeat, despite everyone practically ditching her/walking over her. I just want to give her a hug and find her someone who appreciates her.

This has really been annoying me:

Carla received calls supposedly from Rana. They came up on Carla's phone from Rana. Which means someone must have had Rana's phone to make the calls. Nobody asked who had Rana's phone. Alliyah said she made the calls but no-one asked her how she had Rana's phone. Tonight Kate received Rana's personal effects from the police - which included Rana's phone!

So how could Alliyah have made the calls, and why is no-one querying it?

Grrr. This is just one example of the lazy writing that is spoiling Corrie now.

I think Aliyah got in touch with Carla through a face book type thing not the phone, so she could have sent the messages from her laptop or something similar.

I'm sick of Imran shouting at Wayne, he's getting on my nerves.

ellenanora5 ah that makes sense. Tbh I'm sick of the whole show at the moment, all the misery and shouting and wailing. The only ones with any redeeming features are Tim and Sally, their pairing was genius.

Just read that Toyah is a counsellor at the medical centre. What makes a good counsellor? Surely not someone who's recently lied about her surrogate's miscarriage and subsequently pretended her sister's baby was her's?

And Carla's breakdown, why isn't someone stepping in to help her find the right help? Peter of all people! And you just know he has some other agenda.

Still catching up, hopefully Michelle isn't back waiting to take over the angst when Kate's lungs need a break.
