Well after a 100 years of watching Corrie I think I have finally lost the plot!!! It's getting beyond stupid!

I think she’s better suited to David than Shona too.

What does Carla know about the loan shark ? Why is she writing those random words down on a newspaper then putting the newspaper under the telephone directory in the hall at Ken's house ?

So, Peter is staying at his Dad's yet again. Carla is then on Peter's goodwill as he is on his Dad's ? What happened to the snooker hall that Peter bought ? That looked like it could be an interesting story line.

Once again I'm confused about living arrangements. Where does Carla usually live? Has she got a place of her own?

Carla was living with Roy for a while, not sure if she's moved in with Peter at Ken's now, might have missed something

No I don't think she has a place anymore. She left the area, then came back a few months later. I think she's been staying at Roy's up until they fell out.

I think the scribbling is to show she's having a break down.

Yes peter was all for buying a snooker hall. Where did that money end up as he didn’t buy the hall and Carla bought him the boat.

Do we know what happened to the snooker hall, as various characters were interested in it? Has it become the barbers' shop?

I think Peter just pulled out of the snooker hall sale. I was glad as it could only have meant lots of gangster storylines and Corrie does criminals so well

Peter's money comes from Simon's inheritance from his dead mum's insurance which Peter has control of. He wasted a lot recently buying a new boat (to replace the torched one) to go off sailing in and then selling it at a loss for 9k to give Gary. IIRC he also had to give Leanne quite a lot as part of their divorce. If I were Simon I'd sue him .

Yes you are right Ilove. He bought half the factory, then sold it to Nick to buy the snooker hall. He should still have that money. Carla bought the boat and the insurance bought the replacement, which he sold to give 9k to Gary.

Nick's 'emotional' acting when he was talking about Brian was shite.

That was quite a good episode. Carla is convincing.

Carla has gone way beyond depression, she's having a serious breakdown. Tonight's had some genuinely funny moments for a change - Steve, Tim and Dev, then the "Sweet Caroline " singing!

I agree with PP, tonight was an improvement.
Carla was convincing as being paranoid and out of touch without being over the top.
The Steve/Tim/Dev triumvirate are funny when given the right story. And Sally is good at being 'in charge' and knowing best.
It was good to see Brian and his mullet again!
I like Emma behind the bar. And I actually thought Sean putting his foot in it was quite realistic.
Still can't bear Imran's tightly squeezed eyes when he's being dramatic though.
Does Gary have a conscience?

It'll be interesting to see if the Underworld/Carla/roof story also impacts on the Nick/Audrey fraud story.
