Because it’s not been sent as a text it’s been sent from an app that doesn’t exist in real life. Thats how they’ve got around it.

@Honeyroar Peter gave Gary £9k and Gary passed it on to the chap he owed £15k (I think), who accepted is because he was "feeling generous" but said that Gary now works for him.

I thought Jenny looked really guilty when she saw the text. I wouldn't have thought it was her though.

I wondered if it was Peter because he seems determined to make Carla as dependent on him as possible.

Peter's annoying but there's no way he'd have sent that text. Anyway, he was sitting with her when she got it.

Peters big white hairy chin is getting my wick too. It was only a few months back he was looking quite fit!
Again Corrie plays fast and loose with facts. Surely the previous reroofing of the factory would have been overseen by building control or surveyors working for insurers? And surely Robert nor anyone on the street that I can think of would have had such a personality transplant that they would attempt mass murder by tampering with the roof?

Didn't the Vicar and Gemma's brother only just start seeing each other in the last episode? Now they know enough about each other to win Mr & Mrs. What??

Didn't ILoveMaxiBondi say earlier on that Dr Ali took Rana's phone off her at the scene before saying "I'm so sorry" to Kate? So does he still have the phone or has he handed over to someone else?

I think it's Robert sending the messages, he has a nasty streak. And how does Billy know that Paul takes ages in the bathroom, they don't live together. or have even been on a date

aaah Cerberous the dog - amongst the best 'actors' on the set - indeed the only one who arouses my interest. Love to see a pointy hound again (one made a brief appearance on Classic Corrie though)
Where is the comedy, the everyday life, the state of the country etc. in Coronation Street today.?
Much prefer Classic Corrie - although I notice the rot has set in during the 90s.

I hate the Billy/Paul storyline. Within one minute of meeting each other they were kissing passionately. Is this the way the writers think that gay men behave?

The Billy/Paul relationship is being shoved down our throats. They've been made out to be an old married couple already.

Definitely Jenny sending the txts. Not sure why Carla didn't just block the number. That's what I do when people I've been accused of killing try to contact me from beyond the grave.

Yes! Natalie? She is good. There’s hope yet. I think she’s better suited to David than Shona too. What was the weird moment between David and Maria in the salon? I couldn’t tell if they were hinting at them getting together (unlikely) or setting the scene for Maria going on a manhunt.

I think he caught a look at Gemma and Ches at it while he was up a ladder fixing something for Mary.
