Michelle is completely unreasonable. I thought it was disgusting when she took half of all Steve's money and he had to sell the Rovers when they'd only been married for a couple of years. Why doesn't she go back to sing on the Cruise ships?

I was just making a point about how the writers seem to have forgot about the Nick/Imran link. I know toyah and Leanne and "only" stepsisters but they are close and act like any other sisters do.

millimat Agreed about Michelle. Nasty and selfish. There is not one likeable thing about her character at all. In fact, she makes a better hate figure than Phelan ever did.

I'm on Michelle's side over Steve.
He's the one who cheated, of course she was peeved. She was well within her right to be.
They were married and like I said he cheated so she was entitled to half the money.

OAN (On another note). I was fuming when Carla told Johnny about Robert doing something to the car or factory because he thinks Carla is trying to split him and Michelle up, and Johnny said something along the lines of 'Well were you'. Victim blaming not good, Corrie!!Angry

Michelle wasn't faithful. Before Steve slept with Leanne, Michelle was flirting with her old boyfriend. She dressed up and went over to his house with the intention of getting together with him. She planned it and then changed her mind at the last minute. With Steve, there was no plan. He had a weak moment while Michelle was away. Weren't they on a break? I still don't think that that makes it right that she can take half his money.

Why do the characters have such massive personality transplants when some one dies?

I've seen lots of loss in life, lots of grieving people, very few turn like they do in Corrieland.

I was just about to ask if anyone else is fed up of people trashing rooms when they’re grieving/angry/upset in soapland? That doesn’t happen IRL. I hate that soaps make it look like it’s normal to behave that way.

Anyone watching Midsomer Murders? Is that Billy? He actually seems like he can act, so not sure!

Perhaps they trash the rooms when they're upset so they can redecorate? They're always really old fashioned furniture. You'd think we had no furniture/deco shops up North!
