Imran is very good looking but I don't think he's a particularly good actor. I'd add Kate and Rana's mum to that list. None of them can ever compete, however, with the Girl's Aloud member who played Robert's ex wife. Her dramatic efforts were atrocious.

Rana's mum looks about the same age as Kate.

Imran does nothing for me. You'd think his family would be equally up in arms about him and Toyah moving in together so quickly and casually.

Last night Corrie really dropped the ball and missed an opportunity.

How much better would it have been if Rana's mum had seen Kate's love for Rana early on and invited her to be part of the funeral services? They could have really shown an accurate and emotional portrayal of Muslim funeral services, something few viewers probably know about.

Instead they used it as an opportunity to 'other' Muslims and show them to be closed minded and unwelcoming, something I've never experienced in my entire life. I feel like it did a disservice to Muslims everywhere and a disservice to the late and Rana's relationship, which we were supposed to believe was true love etc.

I agree, it made it look like the religion was horrible rather than it just being rana’s mum that was the problem and couldn’t get over herself.

Yes Imran isn't much of an actor but he is sooo pretty! I bet he smells lovely too.

I Forgot toyah and imran were even a couple! Surely imran and nick must be fairly close now they have been living together a few months cramped into a tiny flat so seeing the impact on his flat mate (and possibly future brother in law) losing his sister would nip at his conscience even a tiny bit when trying to get Carla to lie?

Why would Imran be Nick's future brother -in-law??
