Last thread was full.

I thought I was done hearing Tyler’s mums grating voice on my tv but she’s just popped up on a Lidl ad!

I thought Jason was in Australia? Home and away/neighbours?

If it's still Jason's business why was there a big sign up saying Gary Windass Construction ?

millimat · 29/03/2019 21:42

DH asked if imran was blind when he was day with his eyes shut!

Clawdy · 29/03/2019 21:50

Grief in Corrie is always completely over the top, wrecking rooms, shrieking, (Michelle!), turning on partners, (Johnny! ), blaming people, and basically losing every viewer's sympathy. Why can't they show someone trying to cope, trying to be strong, which would be far more moving and sad?

Cozzo · 29/03/2019 22:25

I like this Wayne character! Like a new Roy. Who I don’t really care for.

Redshoeblueshoe · 29/03/2019 23:16

I'm beginning to like Wayne too. He has been treated aggressively by nearly everyone, but he reassured Sally it was not her fault.
At the minute he is an open book and he could go in any direction 😁

thenightsky · 29/03/2019 23:38

Yes... me too. Loved the way he just cut through the crap and told Sally straight that she was not to blame in any way. He is Mr Logical.

BettyBooJustDoinTheDoo · 30/03/2019 02:41

yes ilove Sally’s living room is so cosy and I really like her new kitchen as well! Also loving Wayne, a great character playing the part really well.

BettyBooJustDoinTheDoo · 30/03/2019 02:43

I thought Imrahn looked blind as well, his acting style is a bit strange with all that eye closing, he has very long eyelashes.

DaveCoachesgavemetheclap · 30/03/2019 06:29

Compare the recent scenes of grief in Classic Corrie when Liz had a miscarriage. Liz and Jim's grief was beautifully and movingly portrayed with no trashed rooms in sight.

RitaFairclough · 30/03/2019 06:37

Talking of Leanne and Toyah; I am a bit obsessed with how Leanne and Fiz never speak to each other even though their parents were married for years too.

Clawdy · 30/03/2019 08:17

Les and Cilla were only married for three years, though, and I don't recall Fizz and Leanne having much to do with each other at the time.

ILoveMaxiBondi · 30/03/2019 09:55

Fiz wasn’t really brought up well by her mum as far as I remember. Fiz was in care for a while, that’s why she went to Roy and Hayley. She didn’t like cilla at all when she arrived on the street.

millimat · 30/03/2019 13:55

I fancied imran until these latest closed eye scenes Shock

NeutralJanet · 30/03/2019 14:23

Funny how they never mention Sinead's "life changing injuries" from that minibus crash either. Wasn't she in a wheelchair for ages? You'd think that might have had some mention during her whole pregnancy/cancer thing.

ILoveMaxiBondi · 30/03/2019 15:25

Yes didn’t she have back and/or pelvic injuries?

OP posts:
Redglitter · 30/03/2019 15:27

Theres been absolutely no mention of her cancer recently either. Is it just another forgotten story line?

How on earth did Gary get so much in debt. He earned all that big money abroad. Hes living at David's so no living expenses. Where did all the debt come from

stofi · 30/03/2019 16:07

That's not Jason in the Larry Lamb thing, it's his real life brother, Adam Thomas.

I think that Wayne is rather attractive.

ILoveMaxiBondi · 30/03/2019 16:17

This Gary debt storyline seems to have been dropped in from nowhere.

Clawdy · 30/03/2019 18:45

Wayne is an interesting character, as you really can't tell if he's going to be nice or nasty. It's usually signposted from the start!

MsChookandtheelvesofFahFah · 30/03/2019 19:14

Hmmm. I say nasty. Hopefully not to Roy though. I imagine the writers haven't decided themselves yet, seeing as how hastily the scripts appear to be written

Honeyroar · 30/03/2019 19:50

I think he'll be nasty too, he has a stare that's a bit nasty! He gave it Imran when he was kicking off in the street.

BettyBooJustDoinTheDoo · 30/03/2019 20:33

I don’t think he’s going to be a nasty character at least I hope not, I don’t see how he can fit into the street in general though as he will have to loose his job for some reason, and as all characters who do have a good career they have to end up working in the kebab shop or serving at the Bistro, I’m amazed Imrahn is still a solicitor and isn’t doing shifts at Roy’s Rolls!

SymphonyofShadows · 30/03/2019 22:11

Didn’t they remove the tumour when the baby was delivered. There was a storyline about her going for radiotherapy when the baby was in hospital

Iwantacampervan · 31/03/2019 08:35

Next instalment of this 'excitement' is 8pm this evening.
