I have just realised that I am at my best friend’s from Thursday of next week. So I will miss the last two episodes - she doesn’t have a tv. However, my lovely, LOVELY DP has just said: “It’s not the same watching it without you, so I’ll save them for when you’re back.”

A Mapp&Luciaphile (I mean books, not telly)?

The pudding in the mass catering callenge was a woeful looking thing, and I thought Annabel looked a right stroppy so and so. Irini in charge of mains was ace.
As for the scraps challenge, I actually thought Annabel was just going to walk out. I was between her and Geoff to leave, her for a very weird looking sauce and him for not using mainly leftovers for his dish.
Looking forward to Fridays marathon, hopefully I will feel better than last night and enjoy it.

LaMarschallin - yes there are a few E F Benson fans about. Previously we had a literary sub-thread involving E F Benson, Barbara Pym and the characters from "HOw to be Topp" amongst others.
