I thought she was by the sinks in the fantasy but in the cubicle in reality.

I was thinking perhaps Rose might make up an accusation about Leah's dad. I like that it's on every night. I think it will really build up the tension.

You know about two females interacting and love/hate thing obsession more.
So far the two leads imo haven't spoken enough.

Quickly skimmed through this thread as we are recording & binge watching it over the weekend so don't want to spoil it but wanted to get an idea of what to expect. I'm really looking forward to it so hopefully it won't be a dissapointment.

Just watched it, thought it was quite good, bit far fetched, but these things often are, glad it’s on each night and looking forward to tonight’s episode.

Quite enjoyable . Hour went pretty fast that shows, to me, it held my interest .

Yes she was frigging off , as Rose put it, in the cubicle so not sure what the sink fantasy was .
I knew the poor cat would get it . Animals often come off badly in this type of show .

Its interesting though, to my mind, that I am thinking Rose done it .. but as a PP put it could have been Leah , as these things have a way of pulling a twist .

I thought she was by the sinks as that was where they were having sex (it was only about 10 min later I realised it was all a fantasy). They showed shoes under a cubicle but I presumed that was someone inside the cubicle as she was outside the cubicle having sex which is why I wondered why she didn't just get out quick. I was ironing at the same time so probably missed the bit when they showed she was in the cubicle. I just presumed it was a work affair the girl would try to use as ammunition against her.

It was hard to follow. I was hoping to be totally hooked.

I guessed it would be a lot of guessing and the whole who is in prison thing was plain annoying.

The cat was predictable.

I am really ashamed to say this, but I am finding it really hard to accept Katherine Kelly and the woman who plays her mum as being amongst the intellectual elite at Cambridge.

She wasn't standing waiting. It showed another loo flushing and someone washing their hands and THEN coming to stand in front of the door, just about at the, um, climax. As a pp says, she stood there to show her shoes and let Leah know she'd heard.

I used to work in HE and the way she's gone about marking down the essay, asking about its provenance, humiliating her in lectures etc is utterly implausible. The egotistic and somewhat detached husband is a cliche. Overall it's a predictable pot-boiler and quite trashy, but I'm liking it nonetheless. I like Katherine Kelly AKA Lady Mae from Mr Selfridge (who she will always be to me). I enjoyed her friend too: 'Walk of shame? Walk of glory, more like; you should have seen him.'

I haven't seen the trailer, so I don't know what it alludes to. Is it something that's been touched on in the show so far?

Intrigued to see how this plays out. I like the format of showing all four episodes in quick succession.

I can't help wondering if the fertility storyline is relevant for future plot development. As others have said, I can see the possibility of Rose sleeping with Leah's partner. It would be interesting if she claimed to be pregnant, especially as we know the fertility issues are with him.

The whole toilet thing was really badly done then! Nobody understood it and too confusing. I am irrationally irked.

After she'd 'finished' in the cubicle, she went 'oh shit!', given that accidentally finding yourself wanking in the workplace isn't exactly the norm, and the shots of her medication, I'm guessing she has like a compulsive split personality disorder and lapses of reality...

I totally agree with you all.

It was common practice at the university I went to for essays / dissertations to be double marked as a matter of course. Leah would have just shown Rose's previous essays and the dissertation to another lecturer (not her husband) and asked their opinion.

Nobody does that in the loos at work.

DH is enjoying it, but I am unconvinced. I will watch tonight, and hope it improves.
