When Sophie offered to pay for Jack's trip it reminded me of the time she stole thousands of pounds from Kevin's account. Did she ever get round to repaying it?

I know he got a prosthetic limb but still amazing recovery to be walking like that!

Saw Gina in John Lewis today! She looked exactly the same. She was very smiley and cheerful.

Kev found envelope, it had money in it, kev thinks it's from Sophie... But I think it was for Sophie... That'll lead to some wrong ends of sticks being fondled.
New character called Lolly has appeared, already chatted to PC Craigy, Kate's old best friend.
Bethany and Amy are new Bezzies for ever... Or a week or two.
Oh no, Steve's been gazumped.. unfortunately not about the facial features with a monopoly board...
Roy's found his slippers in the dumpster.. why did Carla put them in her car?

I rather enjoyed Roy telling Carla a few home truths. About time! And normally they play so fast and loose with crime stories that it was really refreshing to see someone tell the truth to the police at last.

What I don’t understand about Tracey and Steve buying the house is that in Corrieland all property is bought and sold within seconds, so ‘Claude’ wouldn't have time to gazump

I did not like the scene with Carla and Roy, the things he said to her were awful and cruel, she loves Roy and was only trying to protect him, She just acted instinctively it was not to get back at Abi and Peter and for Roy to say that, and particularly the way he said it was awful, I felt really sorry for Carla, if I was Carla I would tell him to stuff his broach if that’s what he really thought of me If only Corrie characters occassionally acted like normal people! i.e Carla sees footage of accidental fire, tells Roy what happened, they inform police, police see it was an accident, Roy goes to doctors to get help with stress, sorted.

How can jack suddenly walk?!? Amazing progress right there

It annoyed me how Steve and Tracey can suddenly afford a 3 bed house - well why the hell haven’t they bought one before instead of sharing Liz’s teeny flat?
Also would Claudia live on the street? Really?

Doesn’t Steve own the flat?

You would expect Claudia to go for a luxury appartment rather than a terraced house in a back street.

Quite agree Deadringer no way would ‘Claude’ be buying some back street mid terrace even if it does have a woodburner! She would be wafting about in kaftans in a swish pad in Victoria Court lording it over the peasants on her balcony whilst quaffing champagne! Do the scriptwriters no know their characters personalities at all??

I feel sorry for Carla. She handled things badly but she meant well and did what she did out of love for Roy.

what's happened to michelles sons, wasn't they both working at the bistro and daniel and sinead they have disappeared as well

Yes I’d forgotten about Michelle’s sons. Hope they stay away!

As for the Sinead and Daniel storyline with the baby in an incubator and her cancer, it’s ridiculous that it’s been put down. In real life everybody would be asking about them and it would be pretty intense. Nobody mentions them, not family, not colleagues, not neighbours. They might as well have killed them off.

Your'e right Redzebra both sons working at the bistro and Ali was cracking up and on suspension from doctoring, then...nothing and as you say the same with Daniel and Sinead all that build up, would she die, how would they cope with a premmie baby etc all...dropped.

It makes you just not care or invest in charcaters and story lines. Finish the story arc and then give the actors a break, it's not rocket science.

There's a bit of a spoiler all over the news today. I heard it on the radio. It's not a plot spoiler per se, more of an actor's announcement.

The only news I've seen is Helen Flanagan saying how hard it is being a mother. Now call me cynical, but, it's damn sight harder being all parent and working 40 hours and having no money etc etc than it is for so wine with plenty of cash and a job that lets you come and go as you please. Lol

I was really hacked off to hear that AutumnCrow - I think the news should have spoiler alerts. Actually, how the hell have we got time for news like that at the moment anyway - isn't there enough really important stuff going on?!!
