Is Sean still living with Billy?
Does Claud live with Ken?

I don't think we were told. About the necklace or Spain.

I didn't understand what happened with the Liz situation.

Did I miss something?

Thank goodness it wasn't just me. I thought I was losing the plot, when it was actually the script writers who lost it

The Liz saga made no sense whatsoever, I can only assume that Gemma and Paul smuggled Liz to the airport hence her necklace being in the van, a very very poorly written episode, don’t the writers feel embarrassed at the drivel they produce? would it not have been a far more credible story line that Liz wrestled with her conscious and then did a big speech in the witness box to absolve Jenny? No, instead we get ridiculous scenes with Paul and Gemma, it just needed the Benny Hill theme tune to complete the absurdity.

Yes it had the feel of huge missing chunk. Or maybe it was edited like that to remove some even worse drivel.

To be fair to plain old Chesney, it's much easier for Gemma or Fizz to do the big hair, glam dress and loads of makeup, while he just has to walk around with that face!

A few weeks ago Liz was jobless and broke and wondering where her next meal was coming from. Now she’s jetting off to Spain? Whose paid for that? Has she got a job now?

I’m so angry with how they’ve done Sinead’s storyline. We haven’t seen her in weeks. Last week Daniel mentioned she was coming home the next day but Bertie was staying in. So is she home? Did we see that? It’s such a huge storyline, cancer plus premature baby. And yet, we’re not getting any of it. What the hell are they playing at?

The Liz storyline made no sense at all. Was she kidnapped and forcibly taken to the airport ? Did Rita pay for the holiday as Gemma said earlier that "me and Rita have a plan" ?

Plus the fact that a witness not turning up wouldn't mean the case was dropped if they had forensic evidence off the car and the the confessions already. It is not the victim who presses charges, it is the CPS. If they have enough to convict they go ahead regardless.

Presumably Liz told Gemma that she was having second thoughts and wanted to go away for a few days til it all blew over and Gemma offered to smuggle her to the airport. Perhaps the writers thought (wrongly) that it would be a nice bit of drama letting us believe that Liz had been kidnapped/tied up/drugged to keep her out of court.

Amazing Liz could book a plane ticket at such short notice! She looked chilled and relaxed on that plane - she certainly wasn't coerced into leaving. Just another silly storyline to make us think a dastardly plot was afoot!

People in soapland always have disposable ££££ to take off and go and live in America for three months. Even if they work as a barmaid in a back street pub.

Ahhh, so I didn't lose several minutes of consciousness, then? The Liz/van/Gemma/Paul scenario was just bungled?
Okay. Now, somebody tell me why it is that Rita is so very pissed off about Brian and Cathy buying the shop? I get why she wanted to thump Brian after the wanky 'equals, but I'm the boss' speech, but the initial hissy fit seemed a bit OTT, given that she knew it was going to happen.

These writers are warped. And I agree that leaving the Sinead story just sort of 'hanging' is bloody dreadful. And they've done something weird to Rita's personality. And Bethany's. And Shona's. And Cathy is being ... odd. And Audrey.

Is it just the women some new writer(s) don't get, or is it the men too? It's just a load of old shite at the moment.

Being with Johnny is not doing Jenny’s mental health any good. Very hard to return to normal life once your OH has cheated on you.

I've completely lost track of who's given who the Kabin, the house etc. No wonder Rita's losing her mind.

Would Liz really bugger off to Spain, given she's the only sensible support that Amy, her granddaughter, has whilst making decisions about abortions?

I've just read the wiki article about the Kabin. According that, It belonged to Len but he put it in Rita's name. He tried to sell it but couldn't because legally it was Rita's.
At some point she gave a part of it to Norris, who later also bought Rita's half, trying to rename it 'Norris News' at some point.

Last year, Colin bought the shop and the flat but then got blackmailed into selling them back. He sold the flat to Rita and the shop to Norris.
Norris has now sold to Brian.

Jeez.
