I'm a bit confused by some of the current living arrangements....
Who lives with Eileen?
Is Sean still living with Billy?
Does Claud live with Ken?

Do we think Amy's baby daddy is going to lead to some big story where he kills someone? Was there a little chemistry between Peter and Abi?

I loved Sylvia, she was great

Hayley "I hope you're not too tired after your journey Sylvia"

Sylvia "Don't be ridiculous Hayley, I was sitting on the bus, not pushing it from behind"

I always thought that it was earmarked for Sylvia to help Hayley when she was dying and they would become close, but she left because she was unwell, so it was changed to Carla and Anna being involved in the storyline.

I missed the second episode last night, I'll catch up later.

It has also sort of been done with Toya and Eva. Toya raising baby as her own and Eva being Aunty. That lasted all of ten minutes and they were adults without the complication of everyone knowing.
Also would the dad not have a say in this. I can see the bolshy mother (that was working in the factory) coming back and throwing a spanner in the works.

Amy is confused and doesn't know what she wants. She has said that she has doubts about termination, doesn't want adoption and doesn't want to be a mother : she just wants it to never have happened. At this stage it's a matter of helping her to make the least bad decision.

I am totally confused by Tyrone’s story. When he first found out his mum (Jackie) wasn’t his real mum he did some research and found out about a woman called Cassie. Was there something about her giving birth in a library or something that matched his date of birth. But now we’re being told that Tyrone was actually 3 weeks old when he was abandoned. And did Evelyn know he existed before she found Cassie overdosing? It’s sounded like she hadn’t seen her for ages and when she found her she’d had Tyrone. And are we to believe Jackie happened to be passing the police station and just lifted the baby before he had been spotted? Really not making much sense to me.

I thought it was Jude that was born in a library. Always thought it would turn out he wasn't really Mary's child, as he was such a fantasist.

Sorry, Mary had Jude at home. and her mother took him away. Perhaps I got mixed up with Morris and Roy tracking Jude down by doing research in a library? Ignore me I'm having "one of those days"

Not sure if it’s deliberate but I’ve realised there is a bit of mirroring going on with Amy’s story too. obviously not the exact same circumstances but an unwanted pregnancy and turmoil over what to do with the baby.

I hope Adam doesn't leave. I think there's so much more they could do with him. When Sarah and Seb were talking about how he needs someone over 21 to support his custody application I did wonder if Adam might step in. He was hinting at wanting to do something meaningful so that could be it?

That would be really good Minister - and wouldn't it be a surprise if the writers were ahead of us for a change!

I don't know, I can see Adam leaving. They've not given him a decent story line recently.so he's a bit like an oil painting right now, not bad to look at but purely dcoratove.
Maybe not totally gone as in shot or drowned in the canal or what have you, maybe he could just get the black cab to the big ex Corrie actor party in the sky, come back in summer with Angie as his fiancé / wife. New power couple of the cobbles.

I'm another one thinking that Evelyn is actually Tyrone's mother.

If Evelyn was so desperate to make it up to Tyrone when he found her, why was she so obnoxious to everyone from the start? I think she was meant to be a harridan at the start, but now the ever-changing scripts have brought in a ridiculous storyline, so they have had to give her a character change, and now we see her tearful and pleading with Tyrone, and being sweet to Ruby!

I think this is the problem, the characters, the story arc and the writers aren't in sync.
Evelyn could be great, but it's all too muddled.
What did I miss with Paul?
Why is Billy upset with him?

I notice that the builder's yard is Gary's. There's a big sign! He must have bought it from Jason/Eileen.

Peter's beard is growing... Not long before he starts with the shanties,

Excellent performance from Abi, Peter and her would be good together.

I quite like the idea of Abbie and Peter.

They're good actors, particularly Abi, who reminds me somehow of Meg Ryan.

Why is the vicar upset with Gemma's brother? Have I missed an episode? Last time they were on screen together they were snogging against a wall!

They were meant to be meeting up but when Billy found him in the Rovers he turned out to be on a date with someone else. Probably other reasons but I have no interest in Gemma's Hastily Invented Twin.

Genmma's brother is obviously supposed to be a handsome roguish charmer who has everyone flirting and giggling with him.......not very good casting then!

Yep I think Abi is a great actor, she's one of the best in a long time, I think her and Peter go well together.

I suppose Gemma's brother is going to wangle his way into everyones affections and then rip them off.
