I'm a bit confused by some of the current living arrangements....
Who lives with Eileen?
Is Sean still living with Billy?
Does Claud live with Ken?

Did Jackie just find Tyrone outside the station and take him? The stepdad said the baby just appeared one night after the pub iirc. I wish Sarah would just dump Gary and I really hope Adam doesn't leave, they really need to hang on to as many decent actors as they can. I hope Angie comes back too.

It doesn't make sense that Evelyn would abandon Tyrone then take on the 16 year old boy from next door and take on a motherly role.
I really thought the next door man was going to end up being Tyrone's brother the way Evelyn didn't want Tyrone to talk to him.
I also think there is something suspicious about the baby photos Evelyn said burned in a fire but the next door man seemed it was the first he had heard of a fire

I wonder are they gearing up for Roy to have a new love interest?

I don't think Roy should have a love interest. When he and Cathy were together, it just seemed wrong.

I'm wondering whether Evelyn is Tyrone's bio mother. He could've been the result of a mid-life affair/fling. Tyrone looks like the pics of her daughter because he's her sibling not her son. Evelyn's subsequent "mothering" of the 16yo chap (who's now about Tyrone's age or a bit older?) could have been her way of assuaging her guilt for abandoning Ty.

I just wondered if they might be gearing him up to "rebel" against the influence/power the women in his life have asserted eg. his mum, Hayley and Carla. Would be an interesting twist but probably above and beyond the scope of Corrers scriptwriters.

Yes I think it's a shame that roys mum couldn't do her final scenes on set.

I think real mum too although who does Ty think she is? I lost the plot there.

How is Steve and Tracy adopting the baby a good idea?
Amy would still have to got through pregnancy and give birth.
Then she would have to hand her baby over and watch it be raised by someone else.
How much of a head fuck would it be to be sister and mother at the same time (both for Amy and the child).

This can only end in tears if it goes through.

Sarah and Adam were in his flat, drinking and flirting. He tried it on, she knocked him back. She went to leave and at the front door he was trying to stop her. Seb came across the scene and intervened to get him away from Sarah. Adam then punched Seb. Sarah brought Seb back to Eileens and told Gary that he had been attacked by unknown assailants.

Wasn't Kat Slater in EastEnders the mum of her sister?

It has also been done in Hollyoaks fairly recently where someone was raised thinking she had a sister, but the sister was actually her mum. Also teenage pregnancy.

The sister - mum scenario happened a lot many years ago, but usually with no one suspecting the truth. As everyone knows about Amy, that plan can't possibly work. Pretty silly.

They might not be planning to keep it a secret from the baby.

I think it goes like this:
Evelyn is mum too Cassie.
Cassie is a old child drug addict that has many sexual partners.
Cassie gets pregnant.
Cassie gives birth to Tyrone
When Tyrone was tiny Cassie over doses.
Evelyn takes the baby and leaves Tyrone on the steps of a cop shop for a copper to find.
Jackie finds Tyrone.
Jackie brings Tyrone up as her own, treats him badly.

I think that's he jist.

I think that the script writers have been reading mn again to get their plots!

Why does Tyrone’s back story have to be so over complicated? why could Jackie have not just been his birth mother and then Evelyn could have just been the estranged mother of Jackie? therefore Tyrone had a grandmother who he had never met? There was need for this over complicated back story about characters we never knew existed (Cassie, drug addict now buried in South Africa......) so how are we supposed to care? At least with Jackie she was in Corrie periodically, we knew her character, we knew she was a terrible mother, The relationship between Evelyn and her daughter (who for believable continuity should have been Jackie) would have therefore held weight, been realistic and have been interesting for the viewer.

And what odds are we going to put on Angie returning back from South Africa as the long lost half sister of Tyrone..........yes utterly ridiculous! But going by this stupid Evelyn/Tyrone storyline not beyond the realms of Corrie probability.....
