@mnahmnah He's currently playing Bruce Wayne's butler in the very successful US TV show Gotham, so I don't think he'll return to Cold Feet anytime soon!

I'd forgotten about Sean Pertwee! How could I forget about Sean Pertwee?

I thought the bit in the car with Jenny and Adam offering to run Karen over was hilarious. As well as the JK segment.

I walked past Faye Ripley today in Whitstable. Everyone around was muttering "ohh look Faye Ripley". DH was like "who?" !!

But Sean Pertwee hit Josh

I also don't like Adam & Karen together.

Shame that David will miss out on the money from the book-would have been nice to have seen him set up again.

I've loved this series but all this discussion made me check the backstory on Wikipedia to check who was shagging who (everybody with everybody it seems) and I'm wondering what happened to Josh, David and Karen's first child, he just disappeared!

Josh dropped off to uni and has gone off to Spain with Ramona. Going to look at setting up his own business, if I remember correctly?

Tbh I was partly hoping that Karen & David would get together when things didn't work with Nikki.

Hopefully there will be another series-A&K will have split up & Adam won't be in it!

I’m watching all the originals on Netflix too, I can’t see the attraction in JN at all, he looks a bit like Jack Nicholson in the shining

Is anyone else surprised at Karen giving her blessing to her daughter going out with Matt again. Didn’t the daughter get pregnant by him, have an abortion and then two minutes later whilst the daughter was getting over it he started snogging someone else?!! Or have I remembered wrongly?!

Not sure about the Karen and Adam relationship, they are both very irritating but for that reason it kind of works!

I've like the series, except the 'dream scenes' . Surely Cold Feet is better than that. They really didn't fit - have they had new writers or a new producer or something ?
I too think that everyone's reaction to Karen and Adam getting together was ridiculous. As a pp said, maybe going quiet, maybe being a bit ... 'Are you sure this is a good idea?', but the outbursts and anger just isn't how the characters we all feel we know would react.

I hope they don't leave it here. Plenty of 'story' left in this. i wasn't sure about reviving it 15 years on, but it has worked, so I hope they do another series.

That's right @PlanetJam, I was surprised that Karen was ok with it too as he treated her so badly but maybe it's different given her relationship with him.

@BackforGood I think they did dream sequences in the original series as I remember not liking them in the past too.

Watching from series one amd jennys voice is so annoying. She talks so childish and the accent she puts on is so ott. Jenny is really annoying me

I’m watching the old ones from the start too. Finding it really difficult to move past the awful nineties music effects!

She always annoyed me, as did her bloody fringe!
